Love is Blind: UK season 1 released its concluding episode, the reunion special, on Monday, August 26, 2024. One year after the wedding, the final six couples gathered to unpack their journey in the experiment and reveal if they were still together.

Benaiah and Nicole and Bobby and Jasmine were the two pairs who were still happily married. Steven and Sabrina, the first couple to get married on the show, revealed they parted ways upon realizing they were not suited for each other outside the bubble of the pods.

Sabrina accused Steven of luring her with false promises. She revealed they were forced into a long-distance relationship, which was not their initial plan. The Love is Blind: UK cast member blamed him for being inconsistent, not supporting her, and not maintaining healthy communication while they were in different countries.

At the reunion, she remembered all the money she had spent trying to adapt to his lifestyle while Steven made no effort to accommodate her. She listed her expenses, from renting a car for him and buying him a French press to spending £70 on groceries. Fans took to X to share their views on their conversation.

On the contrary, many criticized the Love is Blind: UK cast member for insulting Steven on national television. They felt her statement about the expenses was unnecessary.

Love is Blind: UK star Steven admits he is not a "perfect person"

Sabrina claimed she witnessed a change in Steven after they left the pods to embark on a journey in the real world. The Love is Blind: UK former couple had previously agreed to travel to each other's hometowns to keep their relationship alive. Sabrina mentioned she traveled to London seven times, while Steven only came to Belfast twice.

"I had to take opportunities because of my business. I lost all my customers," Steven confessed.

Sabrina blamed him for not "making any adjustments" in his life for her. She then began pointing out the measures she took to give Steven the comfort he wanted. During that process, the Love is Blind: UK cast member started listing when and where she financed Steven.

"When you came to Belfast, you wanted to go to the gym, so I paid for a car for you, to rent a car. I don't drink tea or coffee, so I had tea and coffee and French press for you. I spent £70 on groceries," Sabrina said.

She said bought him an "ironing board" just because he wanted one. However, Steven claimed her allegations were not entirely true. When Sabrina criticized him for not showing up at Belfast for Christmas, Steven admitted he could not travel because he "managed his finances poorly."

He accepted his shortcomings and said:

"I mean, I said, you know, it looks like I'm this perfect person, and I'm not a perfect person. That's why I can see where my shortcomings are."
