"Giving us a movie" — Love Island USA fans speculate Serena and Kordell will get back together

Love Island USA season 6 aired a brand new episode this week on Monday, July 8, 2024. During the segment, Kordell and Serena had yet another conversation but things seemed to have simmered down and the two made headway in terms of where they stand.

Daia asked Serena if the three of them should talk and clarified what all happened between the former and Kordell during their stay at Casa Amor. After a point, the bombshell left the two of them to talk alone and Kordell told Serena that he wanted to make amends with her. By the end of it, the islander told the female cast member that he was willing to fight for her.

Considering the confrontation the islanders had in the previous episode, Love Island USA season 6 fans were happy to see the two conversing in episode 25 and took to social media to comment on it. One person wrote:

Love Island USA fans chimed in to discuss how Kordell was telling Serena that he would fight to win her back:

"No like thinking about that Serena and Kordell scene, the music behind them, when he says he’s gonna fight for her, and them both realizing how much they care, to them starting to be a little goofy with each other, this is TELEVISION #loveislandusa," a fan wrote.

Season 6 fans also quoted Kordell's words and called him "adorable" for his response on show:

"I'm willing to fight for you" — Kordell asks for Serena's forgiveness in Love Island USA season 6 episode 25

In light of Serena and Kordell's confrontation in Love Island USA episode 24, Daia suggested that the three of them have a conversation without opinions from people who weren't involved.

In episode 25, the Casa Amor bombshell clarified that Kordell was honest about his connection with Serena from the beginning. Daia added that although the male islander said that it would take a lot to "turn" his head, she was "checking boxes." Having said her piece, she left the Love Island USA season 6 former couple to talk and resolve their issues.

Kordell told Serena he wanted to make amends with her and noted that things "sh*t went down" between him and Daia.

"We kissed, we cuddled, we hugged, massaged. All of that sh*t happened. I'm not finna beat around the bush. I don't even use f—king numbers, I'm not even good at math," Kordell said.

The Love Island USA season 6 islander added that regardless of what happened in Casa Amor, he didn't "give a f—k" about that. Kordell stated that it was dead and he didn't care.

Serena reminded him that he decoupled with Daia and Kordell apologized for the same. He explained that he told Daia that just because they were "recoupling" didn't mean he was "recoupling up" with her.

The female cast member told him it didn't matter how things happened, but it was "f—ked" that he would continue kissing Daia after saying he felt guilty. She asked him about his thought process behind bringing the Daia back, despite knowing how Serena felt about him.

"I wanted you to come in here, even after seeing that, by your f*cking self and tell me that it's me," she added.

Kordell responded:

"I'm not expecting you to welcome me back with open arms. I'm not expecting none of that sh*t. But I do know that I'm willing to fight for you."

Watching the conversation unfold, season 6 fans took to social media and commented on the conversation. They said they were happy to see the couple on the verge of rekindling their romance and speculated that they would get back together.
