“Glenn is too nice”- Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans react to the Captain deducting Gary, Daisy, and Keith’s tips

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 15 was released on January 20. Titled Past The Boiling Point, the episode highlighted tiffs between the cast members, ahead of the season finale next week. Chase argued with Gary after the latter accused him of not listening, he also argued with Danni after she was mad at him for not telling her about his former girlfriend.

Things got heated between Gary and Daisy as the latter got frustrated with the former's inquisitiveness about her relationship with Keith.

The previous episode ended with Gary, Keith, Daisy, and Chase going out partying with the charter guests. Here, Gary, who pledged to refrain from alcohol because of his addiction issues, indulged in it.

Before they went out, Captain Glenn warned the crew to not break the two-drink rule and said that they wouldn't get any tips if they broke it.

Despite the Captain's warning, Gary had 10 drinks, Daisy also had four shots, and Keith also surpassed the limit. This caused the Captain to deduct £500 from each of their tips in episode 15.

Fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht came to X to react to Glenn's action.

"Glenn is too nice. He said no tip if you didn’t follow the rules and he is still giving them something. Tho Gary did ruin it for everyone Keith and Daisy both came back and acted normal and did their jobs for the remainder of the night," a fan said.

"If Gary, Daisy, and Keith don't lose their share of the tip, I'll lose some respect for Captain Glenn..," said another.

"Gary, you could have lost your whole tip and been kicked off the boat, but here you are pissed at Glenn for holding you accountable for your bad behavior?!" added a third.

"Who gets the tip money that he doesn't give them," another wrote.

Some fans of Below Deck Sailing Yacht called the Captain "weakest" because they thought his punishment was lenient.

"Glenn is the weakest Captain. He should fire Gary," an X user wrote.

"Daisy, Gary, and Keith deserve to lose a portion of their tip due to breaking the two-drink rule!" another user wrote.

"Daisy, Gary, and Keith should lose at least a portion of their tip. Captain set a rule and they broke it," commented one.

"Glenn is correct! And Gary is being a sh*t! Take that tip Glenn! Maybe that will teach his *ss," another wrote.

What happened after Captain Glenn cut Daisy, Gary, and Keith's tips on Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 episode 15?

Gary wasn't having the deduction on his tips so the Captain told him his attitude wasn't right. To this, Gary argued that it was guests who wanted him to drink. Captain said it didn't matter because Gary wasn't forced to drink.

Glenn then took to a Below Deck Sailing Yacht confessional to say that when he set the rules, he didn't think they would break them.

Gary didn't like that Chase was there to see the action Captain Glenn took, even though he didn't break the rules. Keith apologized to the Captain, while Gary just left the cabin.

Daisy also regretted her actions in a confessional but added that she felt like she and Keith were being thrown under the bus for Gary's actions.

In her chats with Dianna, Danni criticized Daisy for breaking the two-drinks rule while two of her stews were working overtime. Daisy and Keith agreed over the fact that it was their mistake and they just needed to take it on the "chin".
