"Go yall separate ways" — Belle Collective fans react to Latrice and Cliff's argument

Belle Collective season 5 aired a new episode on Friday, December 6, 2024. Titled, 99 Problems, Brunch Ain't One, the episode unfolded a heated argument between Latrice and Cliff regarding the latter's meeting with Lateshia. Latrice questioned her partner for paying Lateshia a visit without informing her.

In the previous episode, Lateshia's partner, Glen, told Cliff about leaving his job to start his own box truck business. Cliff decided to take matters into his own hands and speak to Lateshia on Glen's behalf. Lateshia was caught off guard by the news and unimpressed to see Cliff become Glen's "spokesperson."

When Latrice learned about Cliff and Lateshia's meeting, she was displeased. She confronted Cliff for doing something without telling her, but Cliff defended himself by saying that he had already informed her. However, when Cliff's behavior did not sit right with Latrice, she asked him to leave the room and sleep elsewhere.

Belle Collective fans took to X to comment on their argument. While some praised Latrice for standing up for herself, others supported Cliff, criticizing Latrice's demeanor.

"Latrice you and cliff need to go yall separate ways. He doesn’t respect her at all. In my opinion," a fan wrote.

"Cliff does not need LaTrice permission to speak to Lateishia about Glendale," another fan commented.

"Not Latrice popping off on zaddy you better do it," a netizen tweeted.

Many Belle Collective fans praised Latrice for not allowing Cliff to disrespect her.

"Either LaTrice holding on to some FU money or all the money cause she ain't taking Cliff's sh*t," a user reacted.

"I’m so glad to see Latrice standing ten toes down on Cliff! That’s right! Tell him to that base outta his voice and respect you!! It goes both ways! Tuh!" a person commented.

"Cliff stays disrespecting Latrice & I am glad to see her stand up for herself. He had no business going to talk to Lateshia about anything pertaining to her husband. Her husband has a mouth that he can talk & tell her what he has going on. Glen needs to grow up," another fan wrote.

Meanwhile, some Belle Collective fans were unhappy to see Cliff and Latrice argue. They deemed it inappropriate and uncalled for.

"Cliff and Latrice and all this arguing runs me low. I want ti see more loving relationships!" a person reacted.

"It be the disrespect between both Latrice and Cliff for me, like this is literally happening on camera," another netizen commented.

"I don't play games with nobody" — Belle Collective cast member Cliff clashes with Latrice in the latest episode

In episode 6, Latrice confronted Cliff about his private meeting with Lateshia at her office, claiming he was "giving some type of energy." Cliff explained that he went there with Lateshia's partner, Glen, who expressed no issue with their meeting. However, it was not enough to convince Latrice.

The Belle Collective cast member expected her partner to keep her informed. Latrice added that it was "not appropriate" for Cliff to mediate Lateshia and Glen's dispute, reminding him of his boundaries. At that point, Cliff became defensive and said:

"I told you and you knew. I don't play games with nobody."

Latrice was surprised to hear Cliff raise his voice. The Belle Collective star asked him to lower his tone and never speak to her with that attitude. When Cliff mentioned that he got aggravated because Latrice was coming at her, Latrice asked him to pipe his energy down.

Cliff got off the bed, unwilling to prolong the argument, when Latrice said:

"You know there's extra rooms in here."

The Belle Collective star told Cliff to go elsewhere because she wanted to stay alone.
