“Gone and never forgotten”— The Traitors UK fans react to Linda’s banishment

The Traitors UK season 3 episode 7 was released on January 15. The episode saw a select few contestants playing a card game, which would determine the contestant to get murdered. The players to get the 'life card' were saved before the cards were dealt again.

Fozia remained the only player to not get the coveted card, so she was murdered. Minah and Linda, the two traitors, revealed their faces to Fozia— for the first time in The Traitors UK's history— while delivering her the murder card. While on the banishment table, Linda's name was brought up first because she was under speculation in the previous episode.

However, surprisingly enough, Minah too was under scrutiny for being a traitor at the banishment table. But when contestants started voting, Linda received the highest— 7 votes— and was sent home, while Minah received three votes. Fans of The Traitors UK took to X to react to Linda's banishment.

"RIP Linda. Gone and never forgotten," a fan said.

"I’m not even sad that Linda’s gone, I’m sad that Jake gets to celebrate being right…," said another fan.

"And Fozia didn’t lie, Linda was gone the next morning," added a third.

"Traitor Linda, as it is written so it shall be done. You are and will always be a Head Turner. Now…sashay away," another wrote.

Some fans of The Traitors UK also pointed out that Jake's guess of Linda being the Traitor was right, which in a way proved that he was faithful.

"The worst part about Linda being banished is that everyone is bigging up Jake because he “always knew” she was a traitor. Wasn’t Jake also convinced that Kaz was a traitor? Jake got one guess right and now I’m worried he’s going to the final," an X user wrote.

"Jake thinks he's a genius for Linda getting banished, even though it took 7 episodes for her to leave even when he saw the most obvious clue that she was a traitor, and most of the time he voted for other people at the round table. It took u long enough jeez," another X user wrote.

"I think Linda might be one of my fave players of the game this year, it's been camp, a little silly and at the end of the day she was happy to get banished for Minah," commented one.

"Minah didn’t do anything wrong voting Linda. It’d look suspicious if she didn’t and I don’t think she was expecting her to actually go," wrote another.

Who did Minah choose to be the next traitor on The Traitors UK season 3 episode 7?

Customarily, when only one traitor is left in The Traitors UK, they get to recruit another traitor so that they can support each other, and the game doesn't end if the only traitor is voted out. So when Linda, one of the two traitors, was eliminated, Minah, the other traitor was asked to choose another one.

Minah wanted an all-girl alliance, so she shortlisted Charlotte, Frankie, and Lisa as the next traitors candidates. She finalized on Charlotte and summoned her for a face-to-face discussion where she presented her the offer. The episode, however, ended on a cliffhanger, with the status of Charlotte's acceptance still unknown. If Charlotte refused to accept, she would have to quit the game, so it is unlikely for her to let go of the prize pot just because she doesn't want to play a traitor.
