“Good riddance”: Big Brother 26 fans celebrate Kenney’s elimination

Big Brother season 26 aired a brand new episode this week on Thursday, August 8, 2024. During the segment, Quinn was nominated by the public as part of America's Vote. The final nominated contestants were Kenney, Tucker, and Quinn.

By winning the AI Arena, Tucker saved himself and the houseguests then voted for either Quinn or Kenney, and with a majority of votes against him, Kenney was eliminated. Fans of the show took to react to the segment and celebrated his eviction, noting that he previously expressed a desire to go home. One person wrote on X:

Kenney gets evicted from the Big Brother season 26 house with 10 votes against him

In Big Brother season 26 episode 11, clips of a previous conversation between Tucker and Cedric about their plan to vote Quinn out were played. During the flashback segment, the HoH told the houseguest that they didn't have the numbers to successfully eliminate the cast member.

Later in the segment, Tucker and Cedric tried to resolve their issues but continued to be at odds as Tucker felt Cedric used him while the other insisted he didn't blindside Tucker. Julie Chen revealed that Quinn was nominated as part of America's Vote and was also at risk of going home.

Tucker saved himself by winning the AI Arena, which meant the season 26 cast members would vote either Kenney or Quinn out of the show. Both contestants gave speeches before the voting started. While Quinn told the cast that he would go after Tucker if he stayed in the game, Kenney spoke to his family and told the cast to play their game.

Kenney received 10 votes and was eliminated from Big Brother season 26. He exited the house and spoke to the host, Julie about his experience. Recalling the numerous times Kenney expressed wanting to go home, Julie asked him if he was relieved to be eliminated from the CBS show.

The season 26 evicted contestant stated that while he was a big fan of the show, he didn't anticipate how much he'd miss his family. Kenney revealed that Matt Hardeman's elimination in week 1 made the rest of his journey tougher since the two shared a close bond.
