Selling the City, Selling Sunset's latest spin-off released all eight episodes on Friday, January 3, 2024. The segment saw the New York-based group of real estate agents fight to become the top broker and sell the most exclusive and expensive properties.

In Episode 5, a turf war broke out between Giselle and Jordyn over a celebrity client whose identity was revealed to be the famous actor Michal B. Jordan. Giselle was upset that the latter didn't tell her before reaching out to the celebrity client considering they both had a personal relationship with the actor.

Fans of the Netflix reality show commented on the clash online and felt Giselle needed to be more professional. One person wrote on X:

"Giselle needs to grow up a little and develop some level of professionalism."
"Giselle boo boo y’all was a situationship hun you probably don’t have his number anymore doll you have his old number," a fan commented.
"Jordyn Is Absolutely CORRECT About How Giselle Is Acting! Giselle You Said It Yourself The Client & You Had A Situationship So It’s Personal! Lmao You DO Sound Stupid Actually Confronting Her About A Business Deal That Has Nothing To Do With You. Lmao," a tweet read.

Fans of Selling the City defended Jordyn:

"Lmao at Giselle thinking Jordyn owed her a call before acquiring a huge potential client they had in common. No darling, you were sleeping doing nish, when you should’ve been making money moves. Especially bearing in mind your “history," a person wrote.
"Giselle is so unserious in this MJB situation. But Jordyn also has a lot of nerve lecturing her about how mixing business and pleasure doesn’t work well when selling an apartment to her boyfriend is literally what leveled her career up," a fan commented.
"Giselle wasting Jordyn’s time getting upset about a situationship. If she had that on lock, she would have been his agent. Next. Over a Situationship," a tweet read.

Fans of Selling the City further said:

"Giselle thinking she owns Michael B Jordan cause they had a situationship a few years ago," a person wrote.
"Sooo if Giselle has Michael B Jordan’s personal contact why didn’t she call him immediately," a fan commented.

"I thought you were my girl" — Giselle speaks to Jordyn about poaching a celebrity client in Selling the City Episode 5

In Selling the City Episode 5, titled, A Dumbo Dilemma, Giselle was upset about Jordyn not telling her about "nabbing" Michael B. Jordon as a client given their alleged history together. While most cast member referred to the actor as a celebrity client, Abigail named him in a confessional after being frustrated that everyone talking in "code."

Later in the episode, Giselle spoke to Jordyn about it and the latter explained that she believed the group needed to get the client regardless of who got it.

"But like, if you're my girl, and I thought you were my girl, you should have sent me a message, "Hey, I ran into so-and-so," she said.

The Selling the City star responded that she had known "this person" for years as well and that they were distant friends. Giselle argued that he was her friend but that she didn't have his number. Jordyn said she had no reason to have his number.

"My point is that there's no real personal relationship. It is a very cut-and-dry business relationship which is why this works so well," she said.

Jordyn further said that it was unclear to her if Giselle and Michael B. Jordon had "any type of real estate relationship" because she thought it was "very personal" for the Selling the City star.

Fans of the reality show commented on Giselle and Jordyn's argument over the celebrity client online and they felt Giselle needed to act more professionally.
