Love is Blind star Hannah connects with Leo and Nick D.
At the start of episode 1, host Nick and Vanessa Lachey greeted the cast members and asked them about their expectations from the show. Most people wanted to leave with a life partner who was understanding, committed and emotionally available. Having experienced bitter heartbreaks, they wished to find a genuine connection in the pods.
Hannah was one cast member who significantly sacrificed to appear on the show. When the Lacheys asked Hannah what her expectations were, she revealed she was looking for her perfect match. She added that she quit her job to be on the show.
"I'm someone who really prides myself. I've accomplished a lot in life. Like, you go to college. You get your dream job and I had my dream job. I made a lot of money. And I wanna find love so bad, and my job wouldn't let me, so I actually quit my job to be here," Hannah said.
The 26-year-old Love is Blind cast member used to work in medical device sales. However, she compromised her professional life because it prevented her from finding her life partner. While introducing herself before the cameras, Hannah confessed people often misjudged her and didn't take the time to get to know her.
She often faced rejection because of minor factors like mismatched interests. It was why Hannah joined the cast of Love is Blind to find a long-term committed relationship.
"I quit my job. That's how serious I am about finding love," she added.
She formed two connections in the pods, one with Leo and the other with Nick D. After a few dates she cut her relationship with Nick D., assuming he was only interested in her appearances. She deemed Leo her top choice, but after discovering that Brittany was the other woman Leo fancied, Hannah regretted severing ties with Nick D.
She eventually reconnected with Nick D. and accepted his marriage proposal in episode 5. Meanwhile, Leo proposed to Brittany.
