Love Island USA season 6 finale aired on Sunday, July 21, 2024. During the segment, each of the couples declared their love as they read out letters they wrote for one another. Fans of the show praised every islander for being vulnerable, but there was one that they praised more than the others.

Love Island USA season 6 finale: Leah and Miguel's declaration of love speeches
Love Island USA season 6 aired its season finale on Sunday, July 21, 2024. Before Ariana Madix revealed who America chose as its winner, the couples declared their love for one another in front of the villa and the world.
As Miguel and Leah shared their feelings, the male islander told his partner that he knew that nothing could have prepared her for the journey she had on the Peacock show.
"You faced trials and emotional roller coasters, mirrors that left you hurt and angered," Miguel said.
Miguel talked about what the female islander believed were her shortcomings and noted he didn't see them. The cast member recalled his strategy coming in and said that he felt he had been "playing far too defensively" and thanked her for making him realize that. He added that there weren't words to describe how amazing she was.
"If you would have told me that I was going to end up here with the guy who cam in and made out with every single one of my friends, I would believe you," Leah joked.
The Love Island USA season 6 female islander thanked Miguel for being her "best friend" in the villa and for "putting up" with her. She further thanked him for making the experience the one she was "meant to have."
"I like how you get me. I like how we can communicate without words. I like that even in our bad situations, we were still good," Leah added.
