“He slid in my DMs”— Love is Blind alum Micah Lussier reveals season 7 star Nick Dorka reached out to her

Love is Blind alum Micah Lussier, who was also seen on Perfect Match season 2, recently appeared on The Viall Files podcast. In the podcast's October 25 episode, Micah revealed that Nick Dorka from the latest season of Love is Blind had texted her on Instagram.

Micah came looking for a forever partner on Love is Blind season 4. Even though she wasn't successful at that, her career reached new heights when she was selected to be on Perfect Match. Nick, on the other hand, was linked to Hannah in season 7 of the show, but had no luck there.

Revealing the text Nick sent her, Micah said:

"He slid in my DMs and was like, ‘I’ve had the biggest crush on you for so long'".

Micah talked about how she came across Nick's texts amidst all the texts she received on her Instagram. She said she didn't check or read any of them unless they were from her primaries, her assistant, or her social media assistant.

Micah was going through her DMs for some reason when she saw a blue-ticked account, which her assistants didn't mention. The blue tick on it piqued her interest and when she opened it, it was from Nick.

The text seemingly arrived before his breakup with Hannah Jiles on Love is Blind was aired on Netflix, which made Micah say:

"And it was, like, a month ago. I was like, 'I could have aired this man out.'"

She added that she hadn't replied to the reality star yet, but admitted that he was a "great guy". The podcaster then asked her if she had a crush on him too, she paused for a moment before saying that she would reply to him just to be nice. Discussing her reply to Nick, she added:

"I don’t know [how I’d respond to him]. I think I’ll just reply, like, ‘You shot your shot, good for you. Hope I’ll see you sometime".

Micah Lussier from Love is Blind talks about her comparisons with season 7 star Hannah Jiles

On Nick Viall's podcast, the 28-year-old also talked about fan comparisons of her and Hannah Jiles from season 7. She said she saw a few TikToks of fans discussing how Hannah was trying to get an edit like Micah. She said she didn't think anyone was hoping to get an edit like hers.

She said that she had seen fan comparisons and could see their similarities, yet she thought her story was different than hers. She mentioned fans calling out Hannah for being mean and said they were similar there. She was referring to fans criticizing her and her co-star Irina Solomonova for making snarky comments about their fellow contestants.

Hannah, on the other hand, had been at the receiving end of fan criticism for her treatment of Nick and her behavior towards him. She defended herself by saying it was Nick who let her treat her "horribly". Now it is for the fans to see where the duo stands a year after their Love is Blind rendezvous, in the season 7 reunion episode that is to air on October 30.
