The Love is Blind Habibi reunion was released on Netflix on November 1. It marked the end of the coveted Middle Eastern version of the franchise. Customarily, the six participating couples of the season gathered at the reunion to discuss their current lives and experiences during the experiment.
The reunion was shot a year after the show stopped filming. This meant that the participants had changed from the growth they experienced after the show as well as the past year. Khatab, who was paired with Asma also had a significant look change. He styled his hair differently than seen in the season and wore slightly different clothes.
Fans of Love is Blind Habibi took to X to compliment this change in Khatab. They praised his new style and his transformation into a healthier self.

Khatab's journey with Asma on Love is Blind Habibi and what they said at the reunion
When Khatab and Asma saw each other for the first time at their big reveal on Love is Blind Habibi, Asma was shocked. The whole experience was a bit overwhelming for her, so she decided to leave the show. However, the couple returned to the show during the vacation phase of the season, as Asma wished to try it.
The duo eventually became a part of the couple to walk down the aisle at the end of the season. However, due to Asma's parents' absence from the scene, she didn't feel secure enough to take the big step alone. Khatab understood that, and the two decided to be in a relationship till their parents got to know each other better.
However, when the duo returned to the reunion a year after the filming finished, they revealed that they weren't together anymore. Khatab said that his job was very demanding, which forbade him from spending time with Asma. He mentioned that they stopped seeing eye to eye soon after filming ended, during a period when he had to work from 6 pm to 3 am.
Asma said that she probably chose Khatab based on his orientation towards his career. However, she realized he wasn't the person she was looking for. She wanted someone emotionally supportive and believed in a mutual support system. She added that they struggled to find a middle ground at that point, but their friendship now had made her happy.
