“Her hand was in my face”- Love is Blind UK star Ollie recalls argument with Jasmine, claims she got a “positive edit”

Love Is Blind UK has wrapped up its debut season successfully. The show aired the The Reunion episode as the last installment on August 26, 2024, on Netflix. Shot almost a year after filming, the episode welcomed the 6 couples who got engaged in the pods. Out of 6, only 3 couples said 'I do' at the altar.

Ollie Sutherland, the Love Is Blind UK star did not find his happy ending with Demi, as he got a 'no' as an answer. The couple had a bitter-sweet journey, navigating the good and the bad. The couple was quite vulnerable with each other in the pods, and that was the thing that helped them bond.

Ollie was also interested in Catherine initially but felt the connection was not as strong. After all 6 couples arrived in Greece for their vacation and met each other in person for the first time, some insecurities flared up.

Demi confided in her friend Jasmine that she felt insecure when Ollie and Catherine were talking. Jasmine went directly to talk to Ollie about the situation, but Ollie did not find it appropriate.

On August 26, Ollie shared in an interview with Jessie Woo on her YouTube channel, that Jasmine allegedly 'got the positive edit'. He said:

"[Jasmine] actually got a positive edit in my opinion, because in reality that went on for a lot longer and yeah, I’m not trying to throw her under the bus but she was like, poking me and her hand was in my face."

What occurred between Ollie and Jasmine on Love Is Blind UK?

Ollie and Demi got engaged in episode 4 of Love Is Blind UK and were one of the six couples to walk down the aisle. However, the couple did not get married in the end because Demi was unsure about taking such a big step. They parted ways gracefully, and Ollie handled the rejection amicably.

Meanwhile, the viewers enjoyed watching the journey of the Love Is Blind UK couple, as it had all the elements of a relationship, drama, romance, jealousy, emotional meltdowns, and more.

Episode 6 welcomed all the couples for a vacation in Greece, and eventually all the couples met each other in person. Demi shared with Ollie that she felt insecure seeing Catherine around, as Ollie also connected with Catherine in the pods. Ollie validated her feelings and told her it was very natural.

Later in the episode, Jasmine, a very good friend of Demi went for a conversation with Ollie, as she was worried about Demi. Ollie and Jasmine got into an argument.

Jasmine asked him repeatedly, "Where is your head at?" Ollie responded that he felt overwhelmed and offended by the conversation, and felt Jasmine was coming at him.

Ollie, recently shared in an interview with Jessie Woo that Jasmine was provocative during the conversation but all the audience allegedly got to witness was a shorter edit. He said:

"What you’re seeing on screen lasted three maybe five minutes, in reality, it was probably more than 10-15 minutes. They cut that right down. [Jasmine] actually got a positive edit in my opinion, because in reality that went on for a lot longer."

He further told Jessie:

"I don’t want to go into it too much because I’m a big boy and it’s done but it’s like it’s annoyed me that that got taken as me being defensive."

Ollie later in the Reunion episode of Love Is Blind UK revealed that he and Sharlotte from the pod squad have been bonding after the show and are in a 'good spot'.
