HGTV star Christina Hall's husband files for divorce citing irreconcilable differences according to reports

Josh Hall, husband of HGTV star Christina Hall, has filed for divorce nearly three years after their secret courthouse wedding on October 6, 2021. The filing, reported on July 16, lists July 8, 2024, as their separation date. Citing "irreconcilable differences," Josh is also requesting spousal support from Christina Hall.

However, he's also asked to court to terminate Christina's ability to be awarded alimony from him. And even with the absence of a prenup, the realtor is also requesting to "divvy up what was theirs respectively before they got married."

Furthermore, he's asking for all the rights to the shows on HGTV and Discovery Network that they produced together while they were married.

Their most recent project together, The Flip Off, where they will compete with each other in flipping houses, is set to premiere in 2025, and it's not clear if their recent split will impact the upcoming show.

Christina Hall deletes wedding photo with former husband amid their divorce

As news broke about her divorce, Christina Hall is also cutting ties with her former husband Josh Hall in more ways than one. The Christina on the Coast star has deleted her and Josh's wedding photo from her Instagram account.

The TV personality previously shared a picture of her wedding ceremony to Josh in 2022, showing the ex-couple holding hands in a backdrop of the Merriman's Kapalua sunset and ocean in Maui, Hawaii.

She captioned the post, as quoted by People:

"My dream man on the dreamiest island. Maui Holds a special place in my heart. What an amazing night filled with love."

The ceremony and the photo came a year later since the former couple secretly tied the knot in a courthouse ceremony, which Christina Hall previously said on HGTV was "just for us."

The former couple has been open about sharing beautiful moments of their marriage on social media. Josh has recently shared a picture of them kissing during a vacation at Cabo San Lucas. Additionally, photos of them remain on Christina Hall's Instagram, with the most recent being their Park City, Utah vacation.

Aside from scrapping the photo from their Maui ceremony, Christina has also filed for divorce on Monday, July 15, listing July 7 as their date of separation. In the court filing, she asked the court to terminate the spousal support request from her former husband.

The recent end of her marriage marks Christina Hall's third divorce as she was previously married to Tarek El Moussa and Ant Anstead.
