"Hope she gets therapy" — Love is Blind fans criticize Hannah for looking down on Nick

Season 7 of Love is Blind released episodes 10 and 11 on Netflix on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. After leaving the comfort of the pods and their romantic getaway, the couples struggled to keep their relationships afloat when faced with the challenges of everyday life.

Differences surfaced giving rise to conflicts, irrevocably altering relationships. For one couple, their dissimilarities led to the demise of their connection. Hannah and Nick called off their marriage in episode 11 of Love is Blind season 7.

In episode 10, Hannah told Nick his inability "to do things" as an adult frustrated her. She added that she wanted a responsible person by her side for the rest of her life, not someone casual to date. Despite Nick's reassurances, Hannah could not overlook their incompatibility.

In a private conversation in episode 11, Hannah told Nick she was tired of pushing him out of his comfort zone. She called him egotistical, delusional, socially unaware, and a man with no respect. Hannah called it quits, unimpressed by his lack of initiative.

Love is Blind fans took to X to criticize Hannah for demeaning Nick. They claimed she never loved him and only wanted out of the relationship.

"Respect, you have none" — Love is Blind star Hannah expresses her concerns to Nick

During a conversation in episode 10, Hannah told Nick she wasn't interested in dating casually and wanted a partner for the rest of her life. As a result, it frustrated her when "as a 28-year-old," Nick couldn't do what she expected people of his age to do. She said she was "mature" and "ready" and wanted someone with the same mentality.

Although Nick reassured her he was "growing," Hannah was dissatisfied with his improvement. In episode 11, her concerns peaked. While speaking to her mother, Hannah confessed that Nick was not at par with her intellect, humor, creativity, or finance. She wondered if he was the one for her.

The Love is Blind cast member had a conversation with Nick, where she opened up about everything she disliked about him.

"Social awareness, I do not see. Respect, you have none. Ego versus confidence. I feel like I need to stroke your ego for you to be happy. I feel like you extremely say you're a confident person, and I make you unconfident when I think it's just ego. And it's delusion. It's like you just can't see how I feel," Hannah said.

After hearing her, Nick pointed out that she was "demeaning" him, making him feel inferior. However, Hannah refused to back off. She inquired him about his "responsibilities in life," saying "simple men" do not need a lot of responsibilities. She was also unimpressed by his lack of initiative in his real estate career.

The Love is Blind star accused Nick of being concerned about his image instead of being worried about their relationship. She revealed feeling manipulated by his behavior, citing his ability to influence others with his words.

Finally, she called off their wedding because she could not see Nick's "open and honest" side. It made Nick feel like he was not good enough for her. In a confessional, he admitted:

"I didn't have any ulterior motives coming into this other than getting married and finding love."
