Sister Wives season 19 episode 16 aired on January 5. It was titled A Time To Weep, a Time To Laugh, and documented an emotional conversation between Kody and Robyn where the former tried making Robyn accept the fact that they were now a nuclear family.

Before this conversation though, Robyn asked him if Janelle still could reconcile. This was because she said she was having a hard time accepting that she was now the only wife. Kody shut her down saying that there was no possibility of any of his previous wives returning.

He also stated that his relationship with them was over a long time ago and that he stuck to some of them only because Robyn encouraged him to heal his tensions with them.

Robyn's church instilled plural marriage into her being at an early age, according to what she explained in the previous episode. Because of this, she hadn't imagined a life without it. Kody urged her to accept that it was just the two of them from now on.

Fans of Sister Wives criticized Robyn for urging Kody to bring Janelle back.

"Sobbin, Janelle doesn't want HIM!! Moppy just wants to look good.. Which he doesn't. Sobbin, stop the freaking horrible attempts at playing match/peace maker. He's not going to try. He never was, never will be," a fan said.
"So what do you all think of Robyn having a hard time dealing with the fact that it's just gonna be her and Kody? She was bcus she tried really hard to keep him with Meri, Janelle," said another fan.
"Sobbin more of your dreams slippeng away? Poor f*cking you.. Waaaahh. #sisterwives Get over the Moppy and Janelle. Not going to happen. And Moppy, your demons will follow you anywhere you go," added a third.
"Sobbin, Janelle doesn't want HIM!! Moppy just wants to look good.. Which he doesn't. Sobbin, stop the freaking horrible attempts at playing match/peace maker. He's not going to try. He never was, never will be," another wrote.

Fans of Sister Wives urged Robyn to move on as all the other wives of Kody had.

"Sobyn, please get it through your big ass head, JANELLE, MERI & CHRISTINE ARE GONE. THERE IS NO PORCH, NO SWINGS, NO SISTER WIVES," an X user wrote.
"Janelle has made it crystal clear she doesn't want to work out a doggone thing with Kody yet here is Robyn...what...begging him to try with Janelle? Why?" wrote the other.
"Robyn I’m gonna say this one more time. Let’s open our ears and hear it. Janelle doesn’t want him. Even if he wanted to she does not and relationships work 2 ways," commented one.
"Robyn, you are such an idiot. I know you are desperate to have women pining for your husband...but Janelle ain't interested sweet pea. Gotta find him a new wife," wrote one.

The conversation between Kody and Robyn on Sister Wives season 19 episode 16

In Kody and Robyn's conversation on Sister Wives episode 16, Kody told her that he and her could sit there and feel the truth they had and that he couldn't find it with them anymore. This was when Robyn asked him if he couldn't find it with Janelle either. Kody said:

"No, she's just not that intimate, I mean, emotionally."

He added that they didn't see eye-to-eye anymore and said that he would blame it all on her but he wouldn't because he wasn't loyal to her either. He clarified that he didn't care about her either and wouldn't get together for the kids. He sternly asked Robyn to stop pushing him to do something he didn't feel like doing.

Yet, Robyn asked him if they could go to therapy to try to work things out, especially because they had six children together. Kody reiterated the fact that the love and trust in their relationship was lost so there was no going back.

New episodes of Sister Wives season 19 come out on Sundays, at 10 pm ET, on TLC.
