Love is Blind: Habibi is part of the hit Netflix reality TV universe franchise that has introduced viewers to a unique concept of finding a potential partner. This year's spinoffs include the United Arab Emirates version of the show which was released on October 10.
Love is Blind: Habibi highlighted each couple's journey from how they emotionally connected in the pods to their real-life problems. It also showcased every couple adjusting to each other's daily routine, family values, and even distance factors in relationships. This season, Dounia and Chafic's connection was one of the strongest as they bonded quickly in the pods.
Throughout the season, they discussed future plans, boundaries, cultural importance, and how these factors would directly impact their relationship. In episode 4, as they met each other face to face, Dounia shared she had not been in a relationship before.

The conversation transitioned toward Chafic's prior relationships. While the two were talking, Chafic admitted to being a jealous person. After hearing this, the Love is Blind: Habibi contestant, Dounia told the cameras that she was "scared" of the "jealousy" part Chafic had mentioned. During her confessional interview, Dounia said:
"I really like Chafic but what scared me a bit in our conversation was the "jealousy" part. How do I deal with that? I don't really know."
Love is Blind: Habibi episode 4 titled Catching Up With Cupid was released exclusively on Netflix. The episode synopsis reads:
"The next phase heats up as the engaged couples exit the pods and meet in a group setting. Two people recognize each other from outside the show."

In Love is Blind: Habibi episode 4, viewers get to know that Dounia has not been in a relationship before, hence this was a new experience for her. Chafic shared he was glad that Dounia didn't have a boyfriend before.
Explaining the reason why, Chafic shared that in his previous relationship, his partners were "already emotionally done" due to their bad experiences with her exes and had trust issues.
The Love is Blind: Habibi contestant clarified that he was not judging girls on their past failed relationships but considered they weren't right for him. As he felt that he was taking the s**t that his partner's exes did.
During this conversation, Chafic opened up and told Dounia that he was a jealous person, he said that he didn't like "people who are gonna turn around." Chafic continued:
"I won't lie to you. I'm someone, I'm jealous. I don't like people who are gonna turn around you know?"
Later in the episode, Chafic told the cameras in his confessional interview that he was confident Dounia was his match and "felt relaxed" with his decision. However, he wanted to see how she conversed with other contestants. Chafic said:
"I'm sure she's my match, I'm feeling relaxed but I'm a jealous person. I want to see how she speaks to other girls, speaks to other guys."
The Love is Blind cast member told Dounia that he would be "watching her actions," he said:
"I'll be watching your actions. If I see you talking to a guy and laughing, you're gonna see from my eyes, you know. Stop it straight away."
