Cassie Randolph shared that the proposal took place during what she believed was a casual pre-dinner stroll with her family along the Newport Coast. The historic beachfront, known for its restored cottages and stunning views, set the perfect backdrop for the proposal. Unknown to Randolph, Reinhardt was waiting at one of the cottages, ready to pop the question.

"When Brighton dropped to a knee and asked, 'Will you marry me?' as he opened the box, my reaction was immediately, 'Oh my gosh, yes!'" Randolph told PEOPLE. She described feeling "completely caught off guard," adding, "I had no idea."

Reinhardt collaborated with Randolph’s sister Michelle and jeweler Lake McGuire of Simply Radiant to design a unique 5.04-carat elongated cushion-cut diamond ring. The ring also features an engraved "C" and Randolph’s birthstone, a diamond, on the band, adding a personal and sentimental touch.

Cassie Randolph joked that the evening was nearly perfect, saying, "The only thing I would have changed is, I wish I did my hair!" She noted that after the proposal, both families gathered to celebrate over dinner at a nearby restaurant, making the evening even more memorable.
