The first four episodes of Rhythm + Flow Brazil premiered on November 12 on Netflix, building anticipation for the remaining two to come next week. The initial four episodes introduced the rappers and documented the judges choosing to take them to the battles round and then to the feats rounds, culminating with a live performance round.
Episode 2 of Rhythm + Flow Brazil, titled 3,2,1... Flow!, saw RT Mallone enter alongside Mayronzzz and Maju. He was selected to proceed to the battle round alongside Mayronzzz, where they were paired to rap against each other. RT was victorious once again. Crying happy tears after his selection, RT said to Mayronzzz:
"I can't believe this. I'm sorry man. I thought I lost".

While walking backstage after his selection alongside Mayronzzz, who bit the dust in the battle, RT Mallone got emotional, as he couldn't believe he had proceeded further. Giving viewers a snippet of his life and his backstory, RT said:

"At ten, I started singing in a local choir here in my neighborhood. My mom said I was always artistic, very artistic".
Giving more insights into his whereabouts, he said he was from São Benedito, which is also known as Arado in Juiz de Fora. He added that as a teenager, he only saw two paths in life. One was to become a priest, and the other was to become a drug trafficker. He said that was why he was working for that very moment, the moment he could make a career out of.
The montage of his introduction as a contestant was cut by his scene from the backstage of the battles round. Here, he admitted to having blanked out on the stage. He said he recollected himself by telling himself it wasn't a problem because he would freestyle. He again got emotional talking about the moment the judges read the verdict as his co-contestants encouraged him to let it out and gave him a group hug.
RT Mallone's journey to his battles win on episode 2 of Rhythm + Flow Brazil
When RT Mallone showed up with Mayronzzz and Maju to go to the battles round, the hip-hop star Iza Sabino was assisting Judge Djonga in choosing the best among the three. Here, RT rapped about how humans look to climb on "money trees" because of societal pressures and conditioning.
Iza thought RT got a little lost in the middle but eventually got back to the beat. She also liked his body language. Sharing their judgment with the contestants, Djonga said RT was:
"Impressive with his ideas and construction of rhymes. You're a challenge man, for me. It's a hard lesson to learn that simpler is better sometimes".
The judges let him and Mayronzzz stay while Maju was sent home. Before going into the battle with RT, Mayronzzz said in a Rhythm + Flow Brazil confessional that his opponent made him nervous because he connected with RT. RT said even though he admired Myronzzz, he was also his opponent, so he had to go.
The judges thought RT's ideas were more consistent, his energy was good, he could handle pressure, he had style and attitude, and he was solid. Filipe said RT knew how to dominate his opponent and the crowd and announced that he was staying with them.
The final two episodes of Rhythm + Flow Brazil will come out on Netflix on November 19.
