“I would be crying laughing”— Love is Blind fans criticize Hannah for disapproving Nick’s duck ride

Love is Blind season 7 finally made its way to Netflix on October 2, after season 6 left viewers eager for more earlier this year. Nick and Hannah were among the six couples of the season who got engaged in the pods and made it to the honeymoon phase.

While on their honeymoon in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in episode 5, the couple encountered a problem that accelerated quickly. Nick, being his goofy self, felt like riding an imitation duck on the beach. Hannah disapproved of the idea, but Nick went ahead with it anyway. He even found a random old woman there who said she would race him on the duck, and Nick agreed.

Hannah, however, was pissed to the point where she was sulking sitting on the bench at the beach. The old lady jokingly called her jealous and Nick laughed. This put off Hannah even more, who took the comment seriously and gave Nick a hard time for it later. Fans of Love is Blind took to X to criticize Hannah for not letting Nick be goofy. One fan on X wrote:

Several other fans expressed their opinions on X.

"Now Hannah is upset that Nick rode the duck with that lady. You should’ve joined your man Stoopid…," said another fan.

"I’m sorry, Nick needs to call it. That duck scene was insufferable. Nick was being himself and Hannah was doing too much. She didn’t have to put him down like that," a third one added.

"Hannah from Love is Blind 'wants to be unapologetically her' but judges Nick D for playing on the duck," wrote another one.

Fans of Love is Blind also commented on how she exaggerated the fight by writing down bullet points of why she didn't like what Nick did.

"Hannah over exaggerating that damn duck on the beach story," an X user said.

"These people always show their *sses why they had to go on reality TV to find somebody. You mad about a duck ride?" another X user said.

"I do not like Hannah. She is negative as hell but Nick carrying on with this duck has me screaming," a commentator said.

"Hannah being weirded out about the duck? Babe.... what the hell. Go have fun with with your man? She sucks," another commentator said.

What happened between Hannah and Nick on episode 5 of Love is Blind season 7?

After the duck scene at the beach, Hannah and Nick met the other couples at the mixer in episode 5. While sitting down with the men, Nick shared how he found Hannah's anger unreasonable.

He told them Hannah had left a note with about 10 bullet points, which had points such as "Maturity?" and "Delusional" on it after the incident. He told them he didn't like the fact that she didn't talk to him directly instead.

After they returned to their rooms, Nick brought up the topic and asked her why she had written those things. She fished out the crumpled note with the bullet points from the trash can and began reading them. More points such as "self-confidence vs c*ckyness" come forth.

She told him if he was in her shoes and saw her laughing with an old man about how her man was jealous, wouldn't he be angry? Nick didn't relate to her anger and walked out, saying he wasn't the only one who was delusional.
