"I feel so bad" — Too Hot To Handle season 6 fans criticize Charlie for dumping Lucy for Katherine

Too Hot To Handle season 6 dropped episodes 5 - 7 on Netflix on Friday, July 26, 2024. The segment saw a change in the cast member's dynamics. Several contestants who were together in the previous set of episodes showed interest in other people.

Too Hot To Handle season 6: Charlie breaks up with Lucy for Katherine

In Too Hot To Handle season 6 episode 5, Charlie told Katherine that he was interested in her during a vulnerable moment after an emotional workshop. The latter was confused by his advances and told him she thought Charlie and Lucy were having a good time together.

In the following episode, Charlie spoke to Lucy and ended their relationship. Recalling their bond, Lucy said that she ticked every box for him initially and that on paper, there were "so many" matches.

The Too Hot To Handle male cast member told her that they both came on the show to change their course of action and that he wanted to do things the "right way". Charlie told her he hadn't been able to "super commit" to anyone since their time on the Netflix show progressed. He added that although he enjoyed getting to know her, he didn't think he wanted to pursue things with her.

However, Charlie didn't tell Lucy that he was going to pursue a connection with Katherine because he didn't want to make her feel worse. Lucy broke down in tears when she told Bri and Gianna about the chat and elaborated on her feelings about the same in a confessional. Lucy said:
