Dancing with the Stars season 33 premiered on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, and featured a brand new star-studded cast of celebrities with their eye on the famed Mirrorball trophy.
The latest set of celebrities featured movie stars, reality television stars, athletes, and more. One such cast member was Olympian Stephen Nederoscik, who partnered up with Rylee Arnold. They performed Jive to Don't Stop Me Now by Queen and scored 21 out of 30 as part of the judge's scores.
DWTS fans cheered the male Olympian on and praised him on social media. One person wrote on X:

Dancing with the Stars season 33 premiered on Tuesday, September 17, 2024, and saw Stephen Nederoscik aka the Pommel Horse Guy, take the stage with his professional dance partner Rylee Arnold.
During the rehearsal, the celebrity contestant told Rylee that he was a "full-on nerd" and that he loved computers and completely Rubik's cubes.
"I'm really counting on my mathematical brain to help me remember these dance moves," he added.
Ahead of his performance, the gymnast explained that while there had been several female gymnasts on the show. He added that he was the first male gymnast and wanted to make his mark on Dancing with the Stars. He chose Don't Stop Me Now by Queen as his "personal anthem" as he and Rylee performed the dance form called Jive.
The judges' comments for the contestant were positive. Carrie Ann praised him for being entertaining and said he was "so light on his feet." She, however, advised him to point his toes while dancing. Derek Hough said that Stephen had a lot of energy and adrenaline. Meanwhile, Bruno praised his energy levels but asked him to work on his details.
Fans praised the Dancing with the Stars season 33 contestant online and felt that he and Rylee were a good match.
