Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) season 33 premiered on September 17, 2024 and saw the latest batch of celebrities compete in the show for the first time. One such celebrity was Brooks Nader, a 27-year-old model from Louisiana.

Brooks, paired up with dancing professional Gleb Savchenko, performed Tango together as part their first act. However, fans were not impressed by the pair's first-ever performance and shared their criticism online. One person wrote on X:

Brooks Nader's Dancing with the Stars season 33 episode 1 performance explored

In Dancing with the Stars season 33 episode 1, Brooks Nader and Gleb Savchenko performed tango to Britney Spears' Piece of Me. The Sports Illustrated model explained that the pop star was a "Louisiana girl" like her.

"I am newly single, so the lyrics are super liberating," she said.

After the act, judges provided the model and her partner with feedback. Bruno Tonioli stated Brooks needed to work on her strength and core. He said that the Dancing with the Stars season 33 star was "a bit wobbly" and pointed out that she "went on the wrong foot once."

Carrie Ann Inaba felt Brooks and Gleb's performance was "hot" but that the model needed to work on holding her contact so she didn't step on Gleb's toes.
