Big Brother season 26 aired its latest episode on Wednesday, July 31, 2024. Nominated contestants Kenney, Angela, and Lisa were granted the opportunity to secure immunity by winning the Power of Veto (PoV) competition.

Using the Power of Veto they could protect themselves from the upcoming elimination. Once they removed themselves from the block, the HoH would fill their position by nominating another houseguest. In the latest episode, HoH Chelsie Baham picked Brooklyn and Joseph to join the competition alongside the nominees.

Each houseguest put their best foot forward to win the power that could help them stay in the Big Brother house for another week. In the end, Kenney Kelly emerged victorious and removed himself from the block. However, fans were dissatisfied with his victory.

Viewers pointed out that his victory was a waste since he previously wished to quit the CBS show and reunite with his family. They went to X to express their opinion of the cast member's decision to stay on the show.

"Shortly after Kenney used the veto on himself, he contemplated leaving the game and asked to be on the block again! I can't with him! #bb26," a netizen commented.
"not sure why kenney decided to try for the veto when his useless a** wants to go home anyways #BB26," another netizen wrote.
"Kenney has said he doesn’t want to be in the house anymore, yet he uses his veto on himself?!?!? #BB26 #BigBrother," a fan tweeted.

Due to his consistent desire to leave, Big Brother season 26 fans preferred to have the other nominated contestants stay in the house instead of him.

"UGH freaking Kenny winning pov ruined everything. I need Angela AND Lisa to stay #bb26," one fan wrote.
"I need Kenny gone because losing Angela or Lisa would be detrimental to the season #BB26," another person tweeted.

Viewers of the CBS show continued criticizing Kenney for winning the Power of Veto and evading eviction.

"Why the f**k did he win the veto? commit to playing the game or f**king walk out and if he can’t do either he needs to shut the f**k up #BB26," a person commented.
"Kenny winning Veto? This is my 9/11 #BB26," another fan tweeted.
"kenny used the veto on himself just to spend the rest of the week crying about wanting to leave.. #bb26," a user wrote.
"time to watch quitter win veto #BB26," another person commented.

Big Brother HoH Chelsie picked Brooklyn and Joseph to compete in the PoV challenge alongside the nominees

In the latest episode of Big Brother season 26, viewers saw nominated contestants compete against one another, hoping to earn the chance to avoid elimination. The HoH Chelsie picked Joseph and Brooklyn to join Kenney, Lisa, and Angela in the Veto competition.

The contestants participated in a game called Code Tower, where they had to construct a tower using square and circular building blocks tall enough to reach a laser beam. Kenney quickly progressed to the second level, having built a durable base for the tower. Meanwhile, the other contenders struggled with the basic step.

Although Brooklyn cleared four levels of the challenge, she failed to outperform Kenney, who won the challenge and the Power of Veto. The Big Brother cast member went ahead and used the power to remove himself from the block. However, some cast members felt it was "disrespectful" of Kenney to want to leave while the others tried their best to play the game.

Meanwhile, Chelsie nominated Tucker as a replacement for Kenney. Therefore, in the upcoming episode, Lisa, Angela, and Tucker will appear for elimination, while the houseguests decide who will leave the Big Brother house.

Big Brother season 26 will return with a new episode on Thursday, August 1, 2024, on CBS.
