Teen Mom: The Next Chapter season 2 premiered on Thursday, May 30, 2024. The pilot episode started on a positive note as several cast members and their loved ones gathered to celebrate Jade and Sean as they exchanged vows and tied the knot.
Fans of the MTV franchise have seen the couples' ups and downs over the years since they first appeared on the Teen Mom series as part of Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant in 2018. Although they broke up a few times in the past, they tied the knot in October 2023, which was part of the latest installment.
Fans of the show took to social media to react to the wedding segment and cheered for the couple.

Teen Mom: The Next Chapter season 2 premiere saw Jade and Sean tie the knot
In the season premiere of Teen Mom: The Next Chapter, most of the cast members made their way to Indianapolis, Indiana, to attend Jade and Sean's wedding.
Ahead of the wedding, while on a group call, Jade informed Cheyenne that Catelynn and Tyler would not be able to attend, and Leah Messer would also be unable to attend. While the bride-to-be was excited to get married, she was afraid her mother might not be able to attend since she had a court date three days before the wedding.
While talking to the cameras, Jade explained that her mother had been sober and at home for six months, but her past was "still haunting her."
"She's dealing with the legal case from six years ago where she was caught with marijuana and violated her probation."
Talking to her mom, the Teen Mom: The Next Chapter season 2 cast member said she planned to have both her parents walk her down the aisle. She later elaborated on the possibility of her mother being unable to attend the ceremony in a confessional.
Jade said that the mother she "always wanted" might be sitting in jail while she was walking down the aisle. She called it a "gut-wrenching feeling." Fortunately, Christy, Jade's mother, was able to attend the wedding.
Jade and Sean exchanged vows and danced the night away, and the cast member's mother even gave a toast at the reception. During the speech, she revealed that she initially didn't want her daughter to be with Sean but said that five years later, she couldn't imagine Jade with anyone else.
Jade and Sean met when the former was in eighth grade. The couple welcomed their daughter in 2017 when Jade was 19 years old. During their first season on the show, Sean struggled with addiction, and the two broke up due to it, but they got back together two years later after the latter went to rehab.
The two then appeared on Teen Mom 2 and broke up again before getting engaged in July 2022. They tied the knot on October 6, 2023, which was featured in Teen Mom: The Next Chapter season 2.
After the episode aired, fans of the show congratulated the couple online and said they deserved their happily ever after.
