"I love you"— Love is Blind: Habibi star Simo apologizes to Chafic at the reunion

Love is Blind: Habibi aired its reunion special this week on Friday, November 1, 2024. The segment saw several cast members from the Arab version of the Netflix social experiment unite as they discussed events of the show and what happened after.

This included participants such as Chafic, Nour, Dounia, and Simo, who were seen at odds in episode 4 during the vacation phase. For the unversed, Chafic and Simo got into an argument after the latter told Chafic's fiancée, Dounia, that he and Nour knew each other from before.

While addressing the conflict at the reunion special, Simo apologized to Chafic for his "bad behavior" and the two hugged it out.

"I love you," Simo said.

Simo and Chafic address their conflict during the Love is Blind: Habibi reunion special

In Love is Blind: Habibi's reunion special, which aired on Friday, November 1, 2024, Chafic and Simo shed light on their conflict which took place during the vacation phase.

When the video of their fight was played back, Chafic humorously asked Simo what that was. The latter apologized to Chafic and it was "all love" between them now. As the two hugged, Nour told Hajar it was "so fake." Khatab joked and asked someone to translate, referring to the fact that the Love is Blind: Habibi stars argued in French.

Chafic said they would stick to English and repeated Simo's words, "It's all love." Simo echoed the thoughts and said they were bonded for "life" and that nothing could "touch" them. The rest of the Love is Blind: Habibi participants applauded the two for moving on.

"At the end of the journey, we gained each other, we are a family," Simo stated.

The host praised the cast member and said "May God Bless" the entire cast. She opened the floor to the cast and more apologies were issued. Mido apologized to Nour and said he "spoke to her roughly." He added that there was a part of his feelings he didn't show. He mentioned that he was happy with their relationship and was disappointed and wanted to apologize.

"I spoke inappropriately, I was hurt," Mido added.

Nour said that she considered the ability to be able to apologize as bravery because it was "easy to hurt people" but difficult to apologize. She accepted the apology and the Love is Blind: Habibi stars shook hands.

Chafic expressed regrets in front of the hosts because he raised his voice. His fiancée, Dounia also said sorry for her "overreaction" because of "what happened." She said she was apologetic towards everyone.

Mohammed jokingly apologized because he chose Safa and didn't give anybody else a chance. Khatab wanted to get something off his chest and told the Netflix cast he was not a "womanizer." He said he loved everyone's names, referring to telling a lot of the female cast members that he liked their names.

Nour jokingly told Khatab that she was sad because he didn't say her name was nice. In response, the reality star said they only spoke for two minutes. Hajar praised the male cast member and stated that although she didn't get to know him better, he had the best personality in the group.

"He was my number one, to be honest," she added.

Couples who are still together

In Love is Blind: Habibi finale, only one couple tied the knot while two others wanted to put off getting married. At the reunion, it was revealed that Mohammed and Safa were still together while Dounia and Chafic were engaged and hoping to get married soon.

The final couple, Khatab and Asma, were no longer together as they believed they were better off as friends.
