“I’m crying”— Love is Blind fans divided over Garrett’s new look from the reunion

The Love is Blind season 7 reunion finally made its way to the screens on October 30. The coveted episode customarily saw the couples of the season talk about their life a year after their experimental experience. They also went over what went down during the experience.

Garrett and Taylor remained among the two couples who were married this season, alongside Ashley and Tyler. They returned hand-in-hand and had only good things to say about their relationship together. Garrett was also seen donning a whole new look, different from how he was seen in the season.

He grew his hair and styled it with a middle parting, and paired it with a gold-toned suit. Nick Lachey, the host, alluded to Garrett's new look and said they were loving it. Vanessa Lachey, the other host, added that that was his glow-up era. Garrett credited his wife for the look. Fans of Love is Blind came to X to react to this new look of Garrett's. Some loved it, others, not so much.

"I’m crying at Garrett’s many looks over the past year. This current look is by far the best!" said one fan.

"“I finally have a reason to care about how I look.” Ok Garrett that was cute I’ll give ya that," said another fan.

Some Love is Blind fans criticized Garrett's look and compared it to various fictional characters.

"Garrett looks like he’s on his lunch break from playing Aladdin at a Disney park," wrote an X user.

"Why Garrett from #loveisblind glow up look like Flynn from Tangled?" another one wrote.

"No offense, but that is not a glow-up. Garrett's hair is f*cking ridiculous," another commented.

"Garrett's hair is pissing me off," wrote one.

What Garrett said about his new looks on Love is Blind season 7 reunion

On the Love is Blind season 7 reunion, Nick Lachey said he loved Garrett's new look, which had changed from a buzz cut in season 7 to a 2-inch-long hair in the reunion.

He asked him if it was "Taylor's version," which made the audience crack up, while Taylor said no. Vanessa said it was Garrett's "glow-up era". Nick went on to ask if it was safe to say she filled a "black space" in the fashion world, referring to his buzz cut. Vanessa called him out on the dad joke, while Garrett said he loved it.

Later in the episode, Vanessa mentioned his glow-up and said that his looks have been going viral. She added that the hair, the 5 o'clock shadow, and his modeling in Fashion Week were all a part of his fame now. She asked if these were influenced by Taylor, or was it him who did it.

Taylor said it was all Garrett but she saw the potential first. She said she always thought that he was very "s*xy". Garrett said:

"I've always had a latent interest in fashion. I think we all have lots of different latent interests. And being married to a very fashionable and beautiful woman, I don't know, it just felt like I finally found somebody worth looking good for, worth paying attention to my looks".

He added that it was her who opened up the door for him and he had decided to run with it.
