Season 7 of Love is Blind released its reunion on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. The season's participants re-assembled and sat down with hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey to reflect on their journey through the experiment and discuss the changes in their lives a year after the cameras stopped rolling.

In the reunion episode, Tyler addressed the commotion online surrounding his children and their families. He admitted he could have handled the situation better so their birth certificates wouldn't have surfaced for the public eye. While reflecting on his past, he confessed he did donate sperm to a friend and his wife to help them start a family. However, things took a turn after the wife left his friend "high and dry."

The Love is Blind star admitted he "voluntarily stepped in" to help his close friend, which was why there were pictures of him with the kids online. However, he explained he had a good relationship with all his friends' kids. Then, he revealed he "played a part that became very shaky with a friend." Tyler explained Ashley knew about everything and that it was never "news" to her. The star got emotional, justifying his actions.

Ashley chimed in, revealing Tyler did not want to share his story on camera but did because she wanted the "authentic experience." The Love is Blind star said Tyler intentionally lied on camera, saying his children were unaware of his appearance to protect their identity. She claimed she already knew about it.

"And for me, I just know Tyler, and his heart, to know that it had to be hard to navigate with a friend. Way easier when you're removed. And with him growing up in a single-parent household, and in that scenario, when that happened with the divorce, it was very hard for him to remove himself and not be involved when this is now a single mom, right?" She said.

The Love is Blind star said Tyler was her "calmest love," and she was glad she was his wife.
