The Masked Singer season 12 episode 11 was released on December 11, featuring Strawberry Shortcake, Wasp, and Buffaloes in a close competition. Strawberry Shortcake was eliminated after losing a Smack Royale to Buffaloes.
Despite being a strong contender from Group C, her performance of Lose You to Love Me by Selena Gomez fell short. Wasp advanced to the finale with her rendition of Beautiful Things by Benson Boone.
Buffaloes, who sang Africa by Toto, and Strawberry Shortcake did the Smack Royale to Counting Stars by One Republic. The latter was eliminated and revealed to be the pop singer AJ Michalka.
After her eviction, she sang her signature, Potential Breakup Song before leaving. Fans of The Masked Singer came to X to AJ Michalka behind the Strawberry Shortcake mask.

Strawberry Shortcake's performance, voiceover, and panelist guesses on The Masked Singer season 12 episode 11
Strawberry Shortcake was the first to perform on The Masked Singer episode 11 and she kicked it off with Lose You to Love Me. Her performance made Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg tear up and say how emotional and powerful she found her performance. For her voiceover, Strawberry said:
"I was so triggered by the drama of early fame that I decided to take a long break. I had to lose the lights to love what I do again. Becoming Strawberry Shortcake, I’m reminded of why I started all those years ago".
She added that despite the pressure of going to the finale, she was grateful for the experience and didn't want it to end. She also noted that her character was going to be with her for life.
For Strawberry Shortcake, none of the panelists guessed correctly. Jenny McCarthy Wahlberg said she was Sarah Hyland, while Ken Jeong thought it was Joey King. Robin Thicke guessed it to be Kelsea Bellerini. Rita Ora didn't attend the panel because she was sick so she didn't get to guess Strawberry Shortcake's identity.
