Love is Blind Habibi premiered with episodes 1-9 on Netflix on Thursday, October 10, 2024. Hopeful singles from different walks of life appeared on the show to try their luck at love, sight unseen. The 32-year-old cast member shared that his life was "very busy and very hectic" due to his work, especially his nightlife job. He joined the cast of Love is Blind Habibi to find his life partner. However, he faced tough competition from Mido and Karim while pursuing Asma.

During one of their dates, Asma inquired Khatab about his professional lifestyle, to which he replied that his DJing career was "extremely flexible." He mentioned that if he left the pods with a partner, he would prioritize her, despite having a busy schedule. Khatab also confessed that he had ignored his love life because of his career, making his heart "locked and black."

The Love is Blind Habibi star then expanded on his business ventures. He said:

"I work with my uncle. My uncle has multiple factories for building materials and all these things. I'm a partner in a company in Europe for medical AI. At the same time, I have a promotion and marketing agency in Canada that I'm a silent partner in. At the same time, I invest in real estate. So I have my own system."

When Asma asked why he had not disclosed his business in their previous conversation, the Love is Blind Habibi star said he did not want her to judge him based on his financial stability. Khatab wanted her to accept him for who he was.

Asma was convinced Khatab was the one for her. She added that the "tiniest things" he mentioned made sense to her "because they made the full picture." She was impressed by his choice of words and expressions, agreeing to give their relationship "a shot with an open heart and an open mind."
