Lucinda Strafford, a familiar face from Love Island season 7, has revealed that she is not actively seeking male attention after her breakup with DJ Nathan Dawe. In an interview with The Sun on December 1, 2024, the reality TV star shared:

“I’m not interested in male attention. If the right person comes my way, then absolutely.”

Lucinda first entered the Love Island villa in 2021, but her stint on the program was cut short after 28 days. Following her time on the UK series, she participated in the Australia edition, finishing as a runner-up.

Meanwhile, during the interview, she expressed that she is open to new opportunities, which has led to speculation about a potential return to the villa, particularly in the upcoming All Stars series.

Nearly six months after her split from Nathan Dawe, Lucinda confirmed her single status. Reflecting on her relationship with the chart-topping DJ, she said:

“Nathan [Dawe] is literally the best, and we still have conversations from time to time. I wouldn’t say we’re friends, but we’re on good terms and chilled.”

She attributed their breakup to conflicting schedules, explaining that both were too busy to nurture the relationship. Apart from the split, Lucinda remains optimistic and open to future possibilities. She expressed her interest in returning to television, saying:

“At the moment, nothing TV-wise, but I’m definitely open to TV. I keep seeing rumours of me going on but at the moment, I don’t know. I’m not thinking too deeply into it.”

While she isn’t actively searching for love, she acknowledged, “If the right person comes my way, then absolutely.” She added, “I’d just own it,” about going back on the show. She added:

“If it happens, it happens. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t.”

Rumors surrounding the All Stars cast

As speculation about the 2025 All Stars lineup heats up, Lucinda Strafford's name has surfaced among the potential contestants. Following her breakup, alleged sources suggest she might be seeking a fresh start. A source revealed to The Sun:

“Lucinda has had her fair share of heartbreak this year, and she’s looking for a fresh chance at love. Hopefully, the man of her dreams will be in the Love Island villa.”

The All Stars series, set to air in 2025, celebrates a decade of the franchise by bringing together fan-favorite contestants from past seasons. As per Capital FM's December 3 article, ITV said:

“Love Island fans are in for another All Star 2025, as Love Island All Stars returns to ITV2 and ITVX for a second series next year, celebrating a decade of the nation’s most popular dating show.”

Lucinda’s journey on the show

Lucinda Strafford first entered the villa during season 7, where her personality and charm quickly made her a fan favorite. After her initial stint in the UK, she joined the Australian edition during season 5, finishing as a runner-up alongside Zac Nunns. Although their relationship ended three months later, Lucinda’s popularity soared, cementing her place in the show's history.

Outside of the villa, Lucinda has continued to grow her career as an influencer and online fashion boutique owner. With 939,000 followers on Instagram, she remains a prominent figure in the Love Island community.
