In episode 5 of Too Hot to Handle, Charlie and Katherine opened up about their deepest inhibitions during a self-reflective workshop. Katherine mentioned how taxing it was to put up a facade of being a "strong woman." She got emotional while confessing that she wanted to be loved for who she was.

Charlie was impressed to hear Katherine speak about her vulnerabilities. He admitted he was attracted to her. Meanwhile, when Katherine heard Charlie open up about his insecurities, she called him a "good person."
