Season 2 of House of Villains aired episode 10, Why Are All These Villains Crying? on Thursday, December 12, 2024. In the episode, the cast members bid farewell to Kandy Muse, nominated for banishment alongside New York. The remaining contenders were later joined by all the banished villains as they competed in the season's final Battle Royale Challenge.
In the previous episode, Jessie nominated Kandy and New York despite promising never to put the former on the Hit List. However, Wes convinced Jessie that Kandy would become a threat moving ahead in the competition. After this, the Super Villain of the Week started reconsidering his promise.
As a result of Jessie's decision, Kandy landed on the block and became the fifth player eliminated from the game. While Wes celebrated his plan's success, House of Villains fans remained unimpressed. "I really regret not just leaving by myself" — House of Villains alum Kandy Muse on their elimination
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, published on December 12, 2024, Kandy reflected on their elimination, saying that their biggest regret was allowing others to take control of their game.
"I really regret not just leaving by myself, because I shouldn't have given anyone the satisfaction of pressing a button and sending me home. Because I knew that the votes were going to be unanimous," Kandy said.
The cast member of House of Villains expressed their disappointment in Jessie's betrayal. Although Kandy understood that Jessie was looking out for himself and his position in the competition, they confessed that Jessie's decision to let Wes influence him hurt them. Since Kandy believed they were "really good friends," they expected Jessie to honor their pact.
Kandy explained that Jessie's betrayal was one of the major reasons they got "so emotional" before the banishment ceremony.
"I just got betrayed by someone who I genuinely thought was my friend when literally just last night, you were telling me you weren't going to put me up," Kandy added.
Kandy confessed that Jessie seemed "like an a**h*le" after he put them on the Hit List. Although Jessie got emotional watching Kandy step onto the block, the latter expressed that they were not moved by his tears. Ultimately, Kandy mentioned that they were rooting for New York to win, saying it was time New York won a TV show.
