Zeus Network dropped a brand new season 6 of Baddies Midwest on November 3. Fans of the show were hyped once again as they expected to see old feuds aggravated or resolved, and new feuds coming to life with some new entries of ladies introduced to the original mix.
Ahna was among the many original ladies that made Baddies Midwest and was also on the two-episode premiere of the season. However, not long after the new season dropped, Ahna announced that she was quitting the show in an Instagram story.
Zeus Network retweeted the screenshots of Ahna's story on X, on November 8, which stated her reasons for for her exit. She blamed the negativity of the show and said it got stressful. Fans of Baddies Midwest took to social media platform X to react to Ahna quitting. Some were for it since they thought Ahna would indeed do better after the show, some were against it because they wanted to see more of her on the show.
"Nooooo twin don’t let me… you give me life every Sunday you are so entertaining and nonchalant with these chicks and their indirectness I love it…. If you quit I’m not watching no more!!" said one fan.
"If they offered her a lil more $$$ I bet she’d come right back," said another fan.
"She gonna be back. Somebody just whooped her real good not too before she posted this," a third one added.
"No they all say that but without this what would any of them be doing? They all realize they ain’t sh*t without reality tv and come back look at Rollie b*tch quit 12 times and still here lol," another one wrote.
Some fans of Baddies Midwest supported her decision and said the show indeed was toxic. Meanwhile, some fans wished to see her on Big Brother.
"I believe everything she’s saying. That environment is toxic as fck and that’s why I don’t understand how JELA loves being around when she’s proclaiming to be this spiritualist. Babygirl ain’t no REAL spiritualist engaging in the fck shit that WE DONT SEE that goes on there….," an X user said.
"I feel like the girls need to venture out and try to get on other shows on tv networks to establish themselves as real reality tv stars where fighting isn’t the most interesting part of the show and maybe they’ll feel better," another X user added.
"If she does good for her!! I’d love to see @AhnaMacDaddie on Big Brother or something of that sort. Better yet tell nat to do AllStar Battle or sumn," commented one.
"I don’t blame her if she does, you have to protect your mental health. Nobody can’t pay me any type of money to degrade myself so low. My respect and peace come before anything else," wrote another.
Baddies Midwest star Ahna's announcement of leaving the show
Zeus Network posted screenshots of Ahna's leaving announcement on X on November 8. The original Instagram story was posted by the reality star three hours prior.
In the story, Ahna stated that her writing songs for people was going great and she wanted to focus more on that, which was another reason she didn't want to continue on Baddies Midwest. She also criticized the show saying,
"Pointless beefs. Argue every day. Drama all time. It's stressful draining exhausting."
She added that she didn't care if she lost on the pay, she just wanted to leave the negativity behind. She said that she had asked some of her fellow co-stars from Baddies Midwest to not let fan comments get to their heads, but they didn't do so, making the environment toxic.
