Big Ed and Liz Woods, who appeared in the TLC franchise's Happily Ever After? spin-off, were set to get married before the male cast member called off the wedding. The two got into an argument over tacos, after which Ed ended the relationship.

In an episode that aired in April 2024, he stated that he knew Liz was waiting for him to call and apologize but he didn't want to. He added that that is how their previous "14 breakups" had been.

He opened up about how the latest breakup was different than the ones before and said that he was not angry at Liz. Big Ed added that he realized that they were not "meant to be together."

As per Liz, after the argument, she had gone to bed but woke up to Ed being gone. In the same episode, she said that she received a text message from their officiant stating he was sorry that the wedding was no longer happening. The 90 Day Fiancé star said that Ed had called off their wedding without telling her.

90 Day Fiancé is currently airing Before the 90 Days and The Other Way on TLC.
