"I never touched this man" — Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan clears the air about her alleged relationship with a "married man"

Selling Sunset Season 8 aired on September 6, 2024. The latest installment following the lives of members of the Oppenheim Group saw several conflicts arrive over 11 episodes. One such was Nicole Young's take on Emma Hernan's dating life. While the two didn't address the claims face-to-face, Nicole spoke about the latter's personal life on multiple occasions.

She insinuated that Emma was allegedly dating a married man and that the wife had also confronted her. The Selling Sunset Season 8 star reflected upon Nicole's claims while in conversation with Vulture on September 13, 2024.

Emma said there was "zero truth" to what Nicole Young said. She said she knew what Nicole was referring to and clarified that she knew him in 2021 to show him properties.

"I never touched this man, never kissed this man, never held hands with this man," Emma said.

She added that she was "completely blindsided" by the Season 8 situation and felt "blackstabbed." She further called Nicole's claims "slander" and "defamation."

Selling Sunset Season 8 star Emma Hernan claims Nicole Young's "source" contacted her

During the conversation with Vulture, the Selling Sunset Season 8 cast member called Nicole Young a "sick individual" for spreading rumors about her. She stated that her relationship with the person in question was not "even a gray area" and that she only showed him properties and that nothing happened.

She stated that Nicole's "source" called her and said she didn't know why Nicole was saying what she said. As per the Selling Sunset Season 8 star, Nicole's "source" never said it was "an affair."

"Mary, Jason, Brett, everyone was calling me and being like, “We feel so bad. We have your back 100 percent. Whatever you need us to do. We know nothing like this happened," she stated.

The Netflix reality star added that talking about Emma's private life was Nicole's "only story line". She stated the latter often got her headlines and airtime by "attacking other women."

Recalling Nicole's dynamics with Chrishell Stause, she said their feud was the "only reason" she got cast. Criticizing production for the way Season 8 was edited, she said that production didn't let her "have a voice."

"Production didn’t give me a voice. I didn’t know any of this was going on. Imagine the show’s about to come out; I find out about this the day before I get the screeners," Emma added.

Emma commented on the origin of the rumor and said that Nicole's source told Mary, Nicole, and Amanza that "the wife was jealous". She added that "the source" knew nothing had happened and was "clear as day" about it. Emma revealed she had text messages to prove that Nicole knew the truth as it was shared with her on February 14.

The Selling Sunset Season 8 star also spoke to E! News about her conflict with Nicole and called the latter an "evil human" on September 12, 2024. She further called her a "pathological liar" and an "all around disgusting human being."

She demanded an apology from the Selling Sunset Season 8 star and said she had no other "desire" to speak to her.
