"I never trusted her" - The Circle star Jadejha chimes in on her relationship with Madelyn after the show

The Circle season 7 ended with its finale on October 2. In the reality game show the contestants had to set up their social media profiles that they would use to play the game with. Some chose to put their real faces in the game while some chose the catfishing route and used someone else's profile.

Throughout 13 episodes, the players formed alliances and participated in several challenges and rankings. By the end of the show, five contestants made it to the finale and Gianna's profile holders Nick and Jojo won the prize money.

Jadejha Edwards was one of the contestants who played the game as her genuine self and made it to episode 12 of the reality show. In an interview with Collider after the finale on October 2, the cybersecurity engineer shared that she doesn't have any relationship with Madelyn after the filming. She said:

"I never trusted her, I never believed her, it was always strategy, especially when I had a pretty good indicator that Darian was probably going to go home."

In her interview after The Circle season 7 finale, Jadejha shared that she doesn't have much of a relationship with Madelyn post-filming. However, the cybersecurity engineer later clarified that they are "not beefing" over the show.

"We don't have much of a relationship now. We're not beefing," Jadejha said.

Jadejha added that she never trusted or believed Madelyn and had chats with the OF model only because it was part of her strategy. Her doubts were cemented when she realized Madelyn was targeting Darian and was planning to eliminate him.

The Circle season 7 contestant further shared that after the finale, Madelyn confided in her, admitting she was "scared" of her during the game. However, the cybersecurity engineer was confused as to why that was the case and said that it didn't make sense to her that Madelyn was intimidated by her.

Jadejha explained that she comes off as "such a genuine person" to everyone she meets until they "cross" her. She used this strategy in the show as well. She added:

"I was like, 'I want people to look at me and think of me as like the Girl Next Door because they're never going to think that this sweet innocent girl is going to be making moves for real."

In the interview, Jadejha also commended the winner of The Circle season 7, Nick and Jojo for playing as Gianna in the game. She said:

"You can tell that Jojo pays attention to his girlfriend because he definitely channeled that. That's so funny. But also so real for a guy who's dating his girl to be able to channel her a little bit."

Jadejha and Madelyn's run in The Circle season 7

Jadejha had an alliance with Madelyn at the start of The Circle season 7. However, after swapping profiles with Rachel, Madelyn had to restructure her game plan. She had to act as Rachel and had private chats with her alliance members.

To protect herself in the game and return to her own profile she had to eliminate her alliance member Andy with whom she shared a showmance. She then turned the members of the "bros alliance" against each other and Darian was eliminated in the process.

After Darian, Madelyn planned to eliminate Jadejha whom she thought was one of the strongest players. Jadejha tried to mend things with her, however, she got eliminated when the OF model became the secret influencer in episode 12. Jadejha was not pleased by the decision and thought that they had an alliance.
