Big Brother season 26 episode 18, on Thursday, August 22, 2024, showed the aftermath of the latest Veto meeting, during which Tucker replaced Quinn with Chelsie on the chopping block.
The players who were on the block — Chelsie, Brooklyn, and Cam — were at risk of being evicted from the show and had to compete in the AI arena competition. Brooklyn was upset to be pitted against Chelsie, her closest ally and friend in the competition. At the same time, Chelsie believed that Quinn sold her out by telling Tucker about a smaller alliance called The Pentagon.
Chelsie confronted Quinn about it, and the latter admitted to telling Kimo and T'Kor but not Tucker. Chiming in on the situation in a confessional, Chelsie said:
"Are you kidding me? I wanna slap this dude so hard right now, but I am also very aware I have to keep my cool because I need every stupid single vote to stay in the game, including his a**."
Despite being convinced that Quinn was responsible for her being vulnerable in the game, Chelsie hugged it out with the contestant.
"Quinn sold me out"— Chelsie chimes in on being on the chopping block in Big Brother season 26 episode 18
In Big Brother season 26 episode 18, Chelsie felt betrayed by Quinn and Joseph as she believed they threw her "under the bus" to save themselves. After the Veto meeting, Tucker explained he decided to "call everything out" to shake things up.
Explaining his decision to replace Quinn with Chelsie, he said they were "bigger fish" to fry and that Brooklyn or Chelsie leaving the Big Brother season 26 house would play to his advantage.
Chelsie was upset since being on the block meant she could be evicted from the show, so she called Joseph and Quinn out. Both contestants claimed they didn't tell Tucker anything, but she didn't believe them.
"You guys are snakes because none of that's true," she said.
Tucker re-entered the living room and said that nobody told him anything. He added that he was a good observer and that he read the contestants' body language.
In a confessional, Chelsie said that "somehow" Quinn came off the block, and she was on it with two of her closest allies. She added that she was also being accused of running several alliances.
"I think Quinn sold me out, and I got some damage control to do," she said.
She discussed the matter with the season 26 houseguest and told Quinn she would have "genuinely had" his back in "any situation." The latter explained that he didn't tell Tucker anything and that Chelsie's name didn't come up in conversation.
He added that he didn't throw her "under the bus," but Chelsie pointed out that he was no longer at risk of being eliminated from Big Brother season 26. He added that while he didn't tell Tucker, he confided in Kimo and T'Kor, which annoyed her.
She added that she was upset that she was "ratted out" for something she didn't even do, and Quinn assured her he didn't name her. In a confessional, Quinn said he was being truthful and that he needed her to believe him. He mentioned that there was a chance Chelsie would survive elimination and that he didn't want her "coming" after him.
In the latest episode, Chelsie won the AI competition, which required the contestants to decipher jumbled-up words and discover the AI-generated images. Later in the episode, Brooklyn and Cam were still at risk and told the group why they shouldn't be eliminated from the show. However, with a vote of 8-1, Brooklyn was sent packing ahead of Big Brother season 26, week 6.
Episodes of Big Brother season 26 air on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on CBS.
