Episode 33 of Big Brother season 26 was released on September 26, 2024, marking an end of week 10. The intense week saw the first and only double eviction of the season with Leah Peters and Angela Murray biting the dust.
Leah was nominated by Makensy, the Head of Household of the week, after she won the veto and saved her own nomination—Kimo; and replaced him with Leah. She did so because Chelsie told her that Leah was a threat and would come after her when it was time.
Leah was blindsided because she didn't know she would be put up because her relationship with Makensy wasn't flaky. Fans of Big Brother took to X to react to Leah's eviction. Most of them felt sad for Leah and rooted for her to win 'America's Favorite Player' title, some were eager to see her and Quinn's showmance as they would reunite in the jury house. Others saw this as a great move from Chelsie.
"I get to be with my girl" IM CRYING SO BAD. THE LORRAINES FOREVER," one fan said.
"Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye you were bigger than the whole sky, you were more than just a short time," another fan wrote.
"Losing Leah & Angela in the double eviction is so tragic, but that is the way once Jury hits. At this point Chelsie is the only player left deserving of the win & she planed it exactly that way, kudos to her," a third fan wrote.
"QUEEN LEAH FOR AMERICAS FAVORITE PLAYER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" an X user wrote.
Leah admitted to liking Quinn back right on the day of his eviction from the BB house, which kept their showmance incomplete. Many Big Brother fans were hoping to see more of it in the jury house.
"Jurymance era is officially in full swing now that both Quinn & Leah are in jury. I can’t wait to see if anything more than friends happens these next three weeks between them, and I can’t wait for the jury segment next week!" an X user wrote.
"They better milk tf out of the Quinn/Leah jurymance," another netizen wrote.
"Leah’s eviction tonight was so unnecessary f*ck you MJ," a viewer commented.
How was Leah evicted from Big Brother season 26 episode 33?
Leah was put up by Makensy as her renomination, alongside Angela. Leah didn't think she would be the first one to go. After the move, Makensy spoke to her and told her she made the move because she heard Leah was about to go after Chelsie. The latter was a stronger ally of Makensy, so she wanted to protect her at all costs.
Later in Big Brother episode 33, Makensy brought Chelsie and Leah together to talk about it and clear the air. Here, Leah revealed that she had heard that Kimo and Rubina were planning on going after Chelsie, so she wasn't all that safe.
Her claim was rendered true by Cam who said he had heard Kimo and Rubina talking about making a "big move" during the double eviction. According to Chelsie, this move could've only meant taking out herself, Makensy, or Cam.
For her final campaigning speech, Leah asked for one last chance to show her loyalty and said that she would side with anyone who would vote to save her. But all four voting houseguests, i.e. Kimo, Rubina, Chelsie, and Cam, voted to evict Leah. She was sent home by a 4-0 score.
Big Brother season 26 finale is slated to air on October 13, 2024, on CBS at 9pm ET.
