"Incompetence is on another level!" — Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans criticize Danni and Diana's reaction to Daisy's work orders

Below Deck Sailing Yacht season 5 aired episode 11, Much Ado About Crushing, on Monday, December 16, 2024. The episode saw Diana and Danni lock horns with Chief Stew, Daisy, disappointed with her work schedule and the hours of break they got.

While Danni disagreed with Daisy's work orders, Diana complained about not getting enough sleep on the yacht. Diana clashed with the Chief Stew when she asked her to stay up till 5 am to serve late-night snacks to the guests. Meanwhile, Danni was given a three-hour break and asked to sign off at 2 a.m.

Diana was unhappy with the division of work and complained:

"You [Danni] just had a f**king 3-hour break!"

Later in the episode, Daisy tried to explain her decisions to her stews. However, Danni said that her calls made sense "sometimes." Daisy was caught off guard by their disapproval of her task order. She wondered why they were unwilling to put in the work, recalling how she worked with only five hours of sleep.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans were equally unimpressed by Danni and Diana's attitude toward Daisy. They took to X to comment on their unprofessional behavior.

"Diana and Danni's incompetence is on another level!" a fan wrote.

"Does Danni know she's not actually supposed to talk back to her boss?" another fan commented.

"Diana and Danni agree on one thing at least: Daisy is the evil witch because she gives them chores to do… Like their boss she is… but they think it’s stupid. Having to work is stupid or Daisy telling them is?" a netizen tweeted.

Many Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans sympathized with Daisy for dealing with Danni and Diana.

"Can't help but feel sorry for Daisy in having to deal with such pathetic stews!" a user reacted.

"Poor Daisy. Her stews are awful," a person commented.

"Daisy is better than me. I would have made what’s her face get up at 5 and serve the guests snacks," another fan wrote.

Other Below Deck Sailing Yacht fans criticized Danni and Daisy for disrespecting their superior.

"Every episode I don’t think the stews can get any more annoying, and each episode they prove me wrong," one user posted.

"How do you say "no" to your supervisor? Daisy assigns the work schedules and she's the Chief Stew," a person reacted.

"We’ve had some truly terrible stews on every Below Deck iteration, but somehow Danni and Diana have managed to be the most absurd and annoying out of everyone," another netizen commented.

Below Deck Sailing Yacht: Daisy believes Danni and Diana cannot progress in yachting with their attitude

Daisy was surprised to see Diana oppose her reaction. The Chief Stew explained that she asked Diana to work until late morning because she would only be working two hours for the rest of the day. However, the Below Deck Sailing Yacht stew remained unconvinced.

While speaking to the cameras, Daisy expressed that she had worked on charters where she had five hours of sleep the entire season.

"I got to the position that I'm in now by doing what I was told with a smile on my face," she added.

The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member was convinced that Danni and Diana would not progress in their yachting careers if they did not "adjust their attitude." Despite that, Diana continued complaining about not getting enough sleep, saying she would be tired all day.

"That's stupid," she said.

Later in the episode, when Daisy sat down with Danni and Diana, she told them that she followed "a system" and tried to divide the work equally and fairly. Consequently, she was "annoyed" that despite her efforts to assign breaks to her crew, they complained about not getting enough sleep.

Even then, Danni disagreed when Daisy mentioned that she put a lot of thought behind her decisions.
