Love After Lockup released its latest episode on Friday, November 8, 2024. The segment saw Britney and Kerok reach their wedding venue accompanied by two of their friends. However, before they could begin the ceremony, Britney called off the wedding, feeling apprehensive.
When Kerok questioned her, she revealed she did not want to get married because their P.O. stated that the marriage would not work in their favor. Earlier episodes showed that the couple tried to relocate from Virginia to Texas but could not because Britney was denied entry and Kerok's permit status was pending.
Britney assumed that as Kerok's wife, securing entry to Texas might become easier. However, that was not the case. In the latest episode, Britney revealed that the officials advised against tying the knot. Their families were also absent from the event. As a result, Britney decided to call off the wedding, claiming they should not rush their marriage to help their situation.

Love After Lockup fans were surprised by Britney's change of mind since she initially suggested marriage. They took to X to comment on her decision to break the news to Kerok at the altar.

As soon as they reached the wedding venue, Britney informed Kerok about her conversation with the P.O. She revealed that they advised her against getting married as it would not benefit her case or ease her relocation to Texas. Britney added that she did not want to go through with something that the situation compelled her to do.

While speaking to the cameras, Kerok confessed that the turn of events made him look like a "fool." The Love After Lockup star struggled to understand what went on in Britney's head and wondered if he misunderstood her the first time she said she wanted to get married.
Meanwhile, Britney spoke to the cameras and admitted that she waited to break the news, thinking she was "going to go through with it." However, after considering the odds, she changed her mind and called off the wedding. Although she understood why Kerok was upset, she claimed the news was new to her too.
