The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 aired its reunion part 1 on January 22, 2025. The segment saw the female cast members being joined by their husbands.
Lisa Barlow's husband, John, and Bronwyn Newport's spouse, Todd got into an argument towards the end of the episode, after John was unhappy with how Todd spoke to his wife. However, the episode ended on a cliffhanger and will likely see a continuation of the same in next week's episode.
RHOSLC fans reacted to John warning Todd online and criticized John and his wife Lisa for their behavior.
"Alright the ending was revealing…. Lisa and her husband John BOTH SUCK. Like what tone sir? Todd sounded the exact same the entire time. My God the BarLOWs are insufferable. Get them off our screens PLEASE," one person wrote on X.
"Mmmm Todd didn't have a tone.....he was answering Andy's question and brought up what your wife did on the aftershow.....John Barlow is a p*ss," a fan commented.
"john barlow acting like he has something to prove because todd punked him on that vacation. you and your wife are clowns," a tweet read.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 called John a "buffoon."
"John is a such a buffoon. “Lisa didn’t say it so she didn’t say it,” like Lisa is God almighty. Good on Todd telling John to watch it back," a person wrote.

In The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 reunion, Andy Cohen read out a fan question about Todd's "blunt" behavior on the show, and asked Bronwyn if she was "concerned" about it. The newcomer said she wanted her husband to be who he was, and noted that the couple have had several important conversations having watched back the show.
The RHOSLC season 5 cast member said their relationship got stronger after the show as she was able to see certain things she needed to change about herself. Todd agreed, and said that while people had opinions about their relationship, it didn't mean they were true.
"Bronwyn and I have a very strong relationship," he added.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 cast member's husband added that they had a great time together and had experienced so many things in their 10 years of togetherness. Andy asked about the conversations the couple had and Bronwyn said she had a "tendency" of being "sarcastic," which could be perceived as her making jokes at the expense of her husband.
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 couple also spoke about Lisa's involvement with Bronywn's daughter's estranged grandparents. Todd said that bringing up issues related to Gwen was "unacceptable" and Lisa's husband, John asked him who brought it up.
Todd said Lisa brought it up while John said she didn't. Bronwyn explained that Todd was talking about the After Show, and John said he didn't care because Lisa didn't bring it up and said that. Bronwyn brought it to the cameras.
As Lisa started to explain, Todd said he wanted to be "clear about something." He said The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 star "asserting" that Bronwyn had a miscarriage was "wild" and John asked him to "watch" his tone.
"I'm not watching my tone, you watch your tone," Todd said.
Fans of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City season 5 commented on John's comment to Todd online and called him "insufferable."
