Love Island USA season 6 aired a brand new episode on Friday, June 28, 2024. It saw Olivia, aka Liv, sit down to have a conversation after being at odds for the past few episodes. Leah had tried to rekindle her connection with Rob, after Andrea's elimination last week, but he had other plans. Rob spoke to Liv and Kaylor about Leah and said that he didn't want to eliminate Andrea.

All this resulted in chaos, and as the women fought among themselves, so did their fans on social media. However, in episode 16, the female cast members talked and apologized for their statements in the previous episodes.

Fans of the Peacock show took to social media to react to the segment, with many expressing joy at the women no longer being at odds. However, others continued taking sides, as one person wrote on X that they were "mad [that] Leah apologized," claiming that she "had noting to apologize for."

"I'm mad Leah apologized. She had nothing to apologize for. It's not her fault they misinterpreted what she said and twisted her words. Liv should be the one apologizing for misunderstanding and placing blame on her. #Loveislandusa" the fan wrote.

Leah's fans sided with her, with many calling Liv out and stating that the former was "too nice" and that their disagreement wasn't her fault.

"Back seat doesn't mean didn't contribute. It means didn't lead she wasn't the DRIVER like Liv did. She was still in the car!!! Leah is too nice and needs to clear her hands of Liv. #loveislandusa," another person wrote.
"Liv is so f*cking delusional thinking Leah masterminded that conversation to send Andrea home, Livawas the lead, and I hope when Rob watches it back, he realizes what tf happened #loveislandusa," a fan commented.

Meanwhile, Olivia's fans took her side, as many said that Liv wasn't "the bad guy" and that Leah should have "addressed the language and tone" she used for Liv.

"Tbh, I still think Leah could've specifically addressed the language and tone she used towards Liv as well as the fact that she took that conversation from 1-10 but I won't beat a dead horse ig #loveislandusa," a fan wrote.
"Leah brought this on herself. If she didn't go tell Rob anything about the vote she'd be good. Leah literally tried to downplay her role. How is Liv the bad guy for telling the truth? #loveislandusa," a person commented.
"Leah calling Liv mean??? The call is coming from inside the house omg #loveislandusa," another person wrote.

While the fans argued over who was right, some Love Island USA season 6 fans were glad the fight was over. They said that both the women were "iconic," calling Rob and Aaron "the real villains" for "pitting the women against each other."

"At the end of the day Liv and Leah are both iconic and the real villains are Rob and Aaron for pitting the women against each other. I'm tired of both of these women getting all this wrath meanwhile these men sit back and watch #loveislandusa," a fan wrote.
"Leah and Liv settled that like grown women, respect. Rob and Aaron still stirring up mess #loveislandusa," another fan tweeted.

Liv and Leah hash things out in Love Island USA season 6 episode 16

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 16, Olivia, Leah, Serena, and Kaylor discussed their issues before apologizing to one another for their behavior. Leah kicked off the conversation by apologizing for the entire situation. She said that she felt she and Liv were "close enough" that if there had been some miscommunication, they "could have dealt with it together."

"I felt like you and I are close enough that if there was, like, I don't know, miscommunication, something weird going on, we could have dealt with it, like on the side together," she said.

The Love Island USA season 6 cast member noted that she had called Liv to a side and didn't walk up on her own when the two got into an argument. Leah took "1,000%" accountability for her actions before Liv apologized to her.

She added that neither she nor Kaylor wanted it to get so heated in front of people, while the latter admitted it wasn't appropriate. Liv said that she and Kaylor wanted Rob to "be able to say how he felt" and apologized for "jumping to conclusions.

"But we wanted him to be able to say how he felt. Yeah. Maybe I jumped to conclusions but I thought that you were trying to save your a** and not make the narrative again to you because the boys were so persistent on it," the Love Island USA star explained.

Leah reminded the cast members they all decided to vote Andrea out and it wasn't on one islander. Liv told the Love Island USA cast member that she may have said some hurtful things, adding that it wasn't her intention. She did go on to say that she owned and still stood by what she said at the time.

Serena asked Liv if she stood by calling Leah delusional and a compulsive liar. Liv replied by saying she didn't call her Love Island USA season 6 co-star delusional. She explained that she could make her own judgment and recalled Leah stating she took a "back seat" in Rob and Andrea's relationship. The former said she didn't think that was the case.

After the episode of Love Island USA aired, fans were still divided about the argument, but they were glad that they had apologized to each other. Fans expressed their disappointment or satisfaction on X, and many gave their opinions.

All released episodes of Love Island USA are available to stream on Peacock.
