"It’s giving delulu"— Perfect Match season 2 fans chime in on Harry and Jessica's relationship

Perfect Match season 2 dropped episodes 7, 8, and 9 on Netflix on Friday, June 14, 2024. The latest episodes brought new challenges for the existing couples as the eliminated contestants returned to the show to give love another shot.

One of the couples, Jessica and Harry, found themselves in a tricky situation after the latter spent time with Melinda Berry during the men's mixer. After the mixer, Melinda claimed that Harry kissed her off-camera, but Harry denied the allegations and claimed that the Too Hot To Handle alum wanted "clout."

Melinda told Jessica about the same thing, and the two clashed. Although episode 9 ended on a cliffhanger and fans won't find out whether Jessica and Harry matched again, viewers took to social media to chime in about the couple's relationship.

"Why on earth does Jessica think she’s actually got a long-term future with Harry? It’s giving delulu. I don’t believe a word he says to her. #PerfectMatch," one person wrote on X.

"Oh Jessica is a Platinum level pick me. It’s soooo embarrassing to watch. Not her being clowned, again, on reality TV. And this is way worse. Harry is a platinum level toxic man. The gaslighting, the victim hood, fake tears…every time he speaks I feel like #PerfectMatch," another person wrote.

Some Perfect Match season 2 fans said that Harry uses Jessica's daughter, Autumn, to try and "manipulate her."

"I have not tweeted about any other part of this show, but the way Harry has figured out that Jessica being a mom is that girl’s emotional trigger and keeps planting it into moments they have together to manipulate her? That is one sick b*tch #perfectmatch," a fan wrote.

"Harry even bringing up Autumn's name is so manipulative and performative wtgg #perfectmatch," another fan wrote.

"It sickens me when Harry is playing games and he still has the audacity to say Autumn's name #perfectmatch," a person wrote.

While a majority of fans were unhappy with the couple, some said they liked the Love is Blind and Too Hot To Handle alums together.

"Call me toxic but I like Jessica and Harry together #PerfectMatch," one person wrote.

"Wait not Harry being cute for Jessica. He does seem like he's changed. #PerfectMatch," another person wrote.

Jessica and Harry at odds in Perfect Match season 2 episode 9

Perfect Match season 2 episode 9 started with the continuation of Jessica and Melinda's argument. When the female cast was seated together, Melinda told Jessica that she and Harry kissed at the men's mixer.

Jessica was unhappy with the public revelation and asked Melinda whether she was "proud" of herself. Later in the Perfect Match season 2 episode, she wanted to give Harry the benefit of the doubt and had a conversation with him.

Harry told her that while he was "playful" and carried Melinda to the bathroom, he hadn't kissed her. He added that interacting with the other women made him more sure about his relationship with her and apologized for putting Jessica in an uncomfortable position.

Towards the end of Perfect Match season 2 episode 9, the two had another conversation during which Jessica told Harry that if he did what Melinda said he did, she wouldn't be able to look her daughter, Autumn, in the eye and explain to her why she chose Harry to be a part of their lives.

"If what she says is true, I can look at the world and try and explain it to them and not give one afterthought. I don't know how I will look at Autumn and explain to her that's the man I chose for us, and that's what he did, and I went with it anyway," Jessica added.

After watching Perfect Match season 2, fans took to social media to react to the couple, and while a majority of them were unhappy with Harry, they praised Jessica for calling Harry out on occasion.
