"It's too much"— The Braxtons fans divided by Tamar and Towanda's argument

The Braxtons, WeTV's reality show focusing on the Braxton sisters returned to screens with a brand new episode this week on Friday, August 16, 2024. The series marked the family's return to screens for the first time since Traci's Braxton death and showcased the family's grieving process.

The episode featured a healing session that included the entire family led by a grief counselor, Spirit. During the session, Tamar and Towanda got into an argument about their relationship when Tamar claimed she didn't care that she didn't have "access" to her sister Towanda.

Fans of the WeTV show took to social media to react to the segment and were divided by the cast members' argument. Some criticized Tamar for her behavior and one person wrote on X:

In The Braxtons season 1 episode 2, grief counselor Spirit tried to get Towanda and Tamar to resolve their issues. She asked Towanda how it felt not to have access to her sister. Before she could answer, Tamar said she didn't care and asked her sister to "keep it real."

As the argument between The Braxtons stars continued, Tamar questioned her sister about her attempts to keep in touch.

"Outside of yesterday and today, when was the last time you talked to me?" Tamar asked.

Towanda said she didn't recall but remembered that they didn't speak on her birthday since Tamar didn't call her. Tamar pointed out that The Braxtons cast member's birthday was in September, and they filmed the segment in March.
