"It's over" — Big Brother fans criticize Makensy for putting Leah on the block

Season 26 of Big Brother released its latest episode on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. The segment saw Leah regretting not using her Head of Household (HoH) reign in the previous week to target Chelsie. She admitted that Chelsie was a strong contender who possessed the power to pull strings and turn the game in her favor.

While confiding in Rubina, Leah confessed that although she was on good terms with the present HoH, Makensy, she felt threatened by her closeness with Chelsie, who had the potential to influence decisions. Once Chelsie heard about Leah's confession, she used it to convince Makensy to put Leah on the block.

Consequently, after winning the Power of Veto (PoV), Makensy took Kimo off the block and named Leah the replacement nominee. Upset and surprised, Leah joined Angela, the other person nominated for the upcoming elimination.

Big Brother fans criticized Makensy for targeting Leah, who was a friend and an ally. They felt she sabotaged her game since the Live Feeds, available on Paramount+, revealed that Chelsie and Cam planned on taking down Makensy the following week. Netizens took to X to call out Makensy for putting her trust in the wrong people.

"MJ sorry but you should have never put Leah up sadly she is going home because of you It’s over," a fan wrote.

"Mj ruined her own game. Her fighting for leah so hard after nominating her(dummy) has now sketched out cam and chealsie. The down fall of McKenzie has to be studied. Worst fumble in modern BB history," another fan commented.

"MJ renominating Leah is a decision that will cost her $750,000," a netizen tweeted.

Big Brother fans claimed Makensy would regret her decision to turn her back on Leah by allying with Chelsie.

"mj choosing to stick by chelsie over leah who's been loyal to her all season has got to be the dumbest move. chelsie gonna take you out in that double eviction mj," a user reacted.

"I’m being dead serious, I think MJ nominating Leah might be top 5 worst moves of all time. It’s not Marcellas/Lawon bad, but given it’s f7 and that MJ is everyone’s target for the double, I think it’s worse than Howie and Faysal," one person commented.

Meanwhile, some Big Brother fans commented on how difficult it was to witness Mankensy betraying her long-time friend, Leah.

"I can barely watch MJ do this to Leah LMAOOOOOOO," one netizen commented.

"I know Leah is a big target for MJ's resume, but I wish someone else had taken the shot at her, not MJ. Just like Chelsie and T'kor wouldn't target each other, MJ and Leah shouldn't have either. MJ is going to regret this move. But she did everyone else a solid by doing it," another person reacted.

Big Brother HoH Makensy said nominating Leah was not a personal decision

After Leah confided in Rubina about her insecurities regarding Makensy and Chelsie, Rubina saw an opportunity to throw Leah under the bus by exposing her confession to Makensy. Makensy then relayed the news to Cam and Chelsie, who realized they could weaponize it to influence Big Brother HoH's decision.

Previously, in a conversation with Cam, Makensy confessed that although she wanted Leah gone, she did not want to be the one to do it to her. Therefore, she wished to evict Angela during her reign and hoped to target Leah during someone else's. However, in a major turn of events, Cam and Chelsie persuaded her to use her PoV on Kimo and nominate Leah in his stead.

Although Makensy mentioned that it was not a personal choice but one that benefitted her game, Leah was disappointed with her decision. Consequently, Leah regretted using her HoH to go after T'Kor instead of coming for Chelsie.

Once the Live Feeds were up, viewers saw Cam and Chelsie plan their next attack. Both Big Brother houseguests were determined to send Makensy home. Cam said:

"Makensy, once Leah is gone, is the biggest threat to our game. Now that she put Leah up and we convinced her to put Leah up, Leah is in her ear about us."

Chelsie agreed and hoped Leah got evicted because if she did not then it would make "Makensy more powerful."
