Love Island USA season 6 aired a new episode on Thursday, July 18, 2024. During the segment, several islanders got the chance to speak with their parents including Aaron and Kaylor, who won the Mr. and Mrs. Challenge.
One of the people who made an appearance during the video calls was Kaylor's mother, Kara, who had previously slammed Aaron on Facebook for his behavior towards her daughter and compared his actions to a "teenage boy." During the video call, Kara expressed disappointment during Casa Amor but noted that Aaron had "redeemed" himself.
Fans of the show, who were excited to see Kara's conversation with Aaron were let down and took to social media to voice their opinions. One person wrote on X:

Love Island USA season 6: Kaylor and Aaron talk to family members
Love Island USA season 6 episode 33, Serena and Kordell, Kendall and Nicole, and Aaron and Kaylor spoke to their families. The one conversation fans were looking forward to was Kaylor's mother speaking to Aaron, especially after her long Facebook posts calling him out but were disappointed.
While talking to Kaylor alone, her mother and stepfather praised her daughter for being able to articulate her feelings. Kara, Kaylor's mother reminded her that Aaron was only her second boyfriend.
"Casa Amor, my heart was bleeding the whole time for you. Like, I gotta be real, an emotional roller coaster for me in regards to Aaron, you know? And then you weren't happy, like 'Oh my Gosh, she's wasted this whole experience and journey on one guys who has no regard for her feelings," Kara said.
The Love Island USA season 6 islander's mother further chimed in on Aaron's behavior on Movie Night and recalled him saying that he wasn't thinking about Kaylor while in Casa Amor.
Her stepfather, Rob, said that after Casa Amor, Aaron saw that Kaylor was trying to make it work and realized that he also needed to put in the effort. Kaylor's siblings also appeared, and her sister said she didn't like Aaron.
Later, Aaron joined the conversation and told Kaylor's parents he was nervous. Kara told him that while they were excited to meet him, he had taken them on an emotional roller coaster.
"I'm so sorry, honestly, like, ugh, I can imagine," Aaron said.
Kaylor's mom said it was hard to see the Love Island USA season 6 islander cry for Aaron especially since she gave her "100%" to him. She told him she agreed with everyone giving him a hard time during Movie night but added that she believed the season 6 cast member "redeemed" himself.
"But you redeemed yourself through actions, if she's giving you love, she loves you, we love you because we support her decision. And I got to say, I love you guys together," Kara added.
After the conversation ended, fans of the show took to social media to chime in on the exchange and noted they were unhappy with Kara's conversation with Aaron. While most were looking forward to Kara criticizing the cast member, others noted she did the right thing.
