90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days season 7 premiered on TLC on Sunday, September 1, 2024. Eight couples participated in the show to test the strength of their relationships in the real world away from the digital world. The cast members traveled to Brazil, Croatia, Jordan, Ghana, Poland, Nigeria, the Philippines, and South Africa to meet their significant others for the first time.
Having met online, the cast members were in the dark about several facets of each other's lives. The show's trailer featured issues like homelessness, celibacy, and complicated intimate needs.
Loren and Faith were two people who met online and fell in love. Loren revealed on the season premiere of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days that the two met on a dating site and he fell in love with her on the first day. He was set to travel to the Philippines to make things official with Faith, but there were things that Faith didn't know about Loren.
Loren intended to travel to the Philippines to try and make a living since expenses there were cheaper than in the US. Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days took to X to criticize Loren's relationship with Faith. They believed he would be unfaithful to her as soon as she handled his finances because he preferred an open relationship.
"Loren at this point is just too much. Now he's throwing an open relationship into the mix," a fan wrote.
"Loren is the SCAMMER," another fan commented.
"Good luck, Faith, because Loren Dahmer is coming, and he's bringing a whole new level of nightmare with him," a person tweeted.
Fans condemned Loren's intentions of relocating to the Philippines without financial security while refusing to bring Faith to the US.
"Loren truly ain't sh*t. Broke, unhoused and not being honest about wanting an open relationship," a user reacted.
"So Loren is basically going to the Philippines to mooch off of Faith. Smh #" a netizen wrote.
"This is the first #90DayFiance couple where the American is the one looking to scam the foreigner. Loren is just using faith for a stable place to live. They’ll be on the next season of #theotherway when he moves to the Phillipines," a fan wrote.
Fans of 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days struggled to understand why Loren concealed the fact that he wanted an open relationship with Faith.
"Loren has all of the AUDACITY and NERVE!!!! No money, no home, has his ex-gf paying for presents for his current gf, couch surfing with friends & "new friends" for s*x, and wants his Filipino gf to be cool with an open relationship," a fan commented.
"Loren if you wanted to be in an open relationship then you shouldn't have gotten with someone in Thailand at all," another netizen reacted.
"I am sorry but I am sure that there are many serious couples out there and @TLC is chosing Loren?" one user tweeted.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star Loren cooks food in the bathroom
Loren looked forward to flying to the Philippines for the first time to meet his transgender partner, Faith. Before he landed in the country, the 33-year-old wanted to educate himself on their cuisine. He cooked shrimp, sweet chili sauce, soy sauce, and garlic in the bathroom so the room got "nice and hot and steamy" and resembled the humid climate of the Philippines.
He continued exercising in the "steamy" bathroom to get the full experience of the tropical country. While introducing himself, the 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days cast member revealed he worked at a drag bar. The drag queens called him their "skinny bodyguard."
He added that growing up, he struggled to fit into normative gender roles. Loren identified as someone who found femininity attractive and not gender. He wanted to have a trans-wife and live his life happily.
Having dated Faith for four months, Loren was ready to "spend his entire savings, get on a plane, go to the Philippines, meet Faith face-to-face, and make that last forever." However, 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days star revealed Faith did not know he was "broke."
He struggled to pay rent with the minimum wage he drew from multiple odd jobs.
"Since I can't really afford to survive in America, my ideal scenario would be I go to the Philippines, find a way to live with Faith, and then stay there forever," Loren stated.
He wondered how Faith would react to his situation, and feared the consequences if she wished to come to America. He later disclosed that he wanted to be in an open relationship, another facet that Faith was unaware of.
90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days airs every Sunday on TLC at 8 pm ET.
