Big Brother season 26 aired a new episode on July 27, 2024 on CBS. The segment marked the beginning of the second week of the season and Chelsie was selected as the new Head of Household (HoH). Another cast member, Kenney Kelly, won the Power of Veto (PoV), but fans felt that he should no longer be in the game.
Kenney had previously expressed that he wanted to leave the CBS show. Despite the PoV power he held, the cast member was seen sitting by himself on numerous occasions. Kenney wins Power of Veto in Big Brother season 26 week 2
Big Brother season 26 entered week 2 on Sunday, July 27, 2024. The show featured a summarized version of what fans saw in the Live Feeds. During the episode, Kenney won PoV and Chelsie became the new HoH.
Chelsie nominated three contestants for elimination, namely Kenney, Lisa, and Angela. To win the Power of Veto and take himself off the block, Kenney went up against the other two nominated contestants.
The remaining contenders were Brooklyn Rivera and Joseph Rodriguez, picked for the competition at random. Kenney, who previously shared the desire to quit the show, told Leah Peters that he would use his new power to take himself off the block.
In week 1 also, Kenney was nominated against Matt Hardeman and the former missed his daughter's birthday. Ultimately, Hardeman was evicted from Big Brother season 26.
