"Justice for Justin"- Perfect Match fans criticize Elys for choosing Bryton

Perfect Match season 2 aired three new episodes on Friday, June 14, 2024. Fans witnessed eliminated contestants return to hopefully find a match to be eligible to win the show. One such contestant was Bryton Constantin, who previously appeared on Squid Game: The Challenge.

Upon his return, he spoke to several female cast members such as Micah and Elys but eventually matched up with the latter, which prompted her connection, Justin, to leave the show instead of trying to match with another cast member. Fans of the show took to social media after episode 9 aired and criticized Elys for picking Bryton over Justin. One person wrote on X:

"JUSTICE FOR JUSTIN, why Elys girl what are you doing? "It was very fast?" You were faster with Harry and you never stopped to think about it, did you loswe a good guy for someone like Bryton?? #perfectmatch."

"Elys is sooo weird leaving Justin for Bryton is crazy and everything she does is based on pettiness like I swear she is STILL trying to get back at Micah for setting Harry up on a date #perfectmatch," another person wrote.

"I'm sorry but Elys is a LOSER for ditching Justin and matching with Bryton just to get back at Micah. All of this over HARRY of all people #PerfectMatch," a fan wrote.

Perfect Match season 2 fans further noted that Elys did the same thing to Justin that Harry did to her when he picked Jessica over her in the show.

"Elys did the same thing to Justin that Harry did to her. Wishing her all the worst on the show moving forward #perfectmatch," a fan wrote.

"Elys just made me so mad cause she wined about Harry leaving her for Jess just for her to leaveJustin for a mysogist...easily THE worse boy on the show and she sat there and convinced him to match with her #perfectmatch," another fan wrote.

"Elys pulled a Harry on Justin????? I did not see that coming #perfectmatch," a person wrote on online.

Perfect Match season 2 fans praised Justin:

"I totally love Xanthi and Justin's integrity. They didn't stoop low to settle, beg or allow themselves to be gaslit after their partners blindsided them #perfectmatch," a person wrote.

"I respect Justin for knowing when it's time to leave...because you're not about to clown me out and expect imma scramble to find someone else to match with...just to stay in the house #perfectmatch," another person wrote.

Justin leaves Perfect Match after Elys breaks up with him for Bryton

In Perfect Match season 2 episode 9, Elys Hutchinson broke up with Justin to match up with Bryton. The Too Hot to Handle winner, who previously told Bryton she was "invested" in her relationship with Justin, had another conversation with Bryton. She expressed wanting to match up with him, noting that Justin was her "safest option" since they had something "amazing" but wanted something "fun" as well.

When she went to speak to Justin to break the news to him, she told the Perfect Match season 2 cast member they were about to have a "sh*tty" conversation. This prompted Justin to ask whether she was going to match with Bryton. Elys said yes and wanted to explain herself but the male cast member didn't want to listen.

Elys asked him why he wasn't ready to talk to her. Justin told her he was leaving the villa and asked her to let him say goodbye to his "guys." In a confessional, Justin said:

"I just feel blindsided. She was the one. To have that just flip on its face is just, like, the worst feeling whatsoever. There's no need for me to be here anymore, it's over."

Justin left Perfect Match instead of trying to find another person to pair with. The dating show will air its season finale on June 21, 2024, during which the winner will be declared.
