"Kaylor gets crumbs"— Love Island USA fans react to Aaron hugging Rob during the elimination ceremony

Love Island USA season 6 aired a brand new episode this week on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. The segment saw the continuation of Monday's fire pit ceremony, during which Maura Higgins revealed which couples were safe from elimination.

This included JaNa and Kenny, Nicole and Kendal, Serena and Kordell, Leah and Miguel, and newcomer Kassy Castilo. The safe contestants had to pick one couple to save, and they picked Aaron and Kaylor.

Aaron immediately hugged Rob, as he feared that his best friend would be eliminated. The latter kissed Aaron several times on the cheek as he told him not to cry. Seeing Aaron's reaction, fans took to social media to comment on the same, noting that he hugged his friend before he hugged his girlfriend. One person wrote on X:

"Aaron literally can’t contain himself when it comes to Rob. Yet, Kaylor gets crumbs. It’s really embarrassing. #loveislandusa"

Love Island USA season 6 fans commented on Aaron's reaction when Kassy picked Rob and saved him from being eliminated.

"There is no reason Aaron jumped up that fast when Kassy saved Rob lmaooo he wasn’t even that happy that him and Kaylor was safe #loveislandusa," a person wrote.

Kassy saves Rob from elimination in Love Island USA season 6

In Love Island USA season 6 episode 32, the unsafe contestant's fate on the show was in the hands of the safe cast members. Miguel opened up about why the cast decided to save Kaylor and Aaron and said there was love for each of the islanders in the villa.

Chiming in on the friendships that were made on the show, the season 6 contestant said he would cherish those for life and added that despite the friendly connections everyone had, the villa had chosen to share the couple they believed had the "strongest bond."

As Aaron and Kaylor were saved, Aaron hugged Rob, while Kaylor hugged Daniela. Rob kissed his best friend's cheek while Rob consoled him and asked him to stop crying.

"I swear, I don't want to cry when I leave, please stop. I'll see you soon, See you so soon!"

Aaron and Kaylor thanked the cast for saving them and were upset because they thought Rob was going home. However, Maura Higgins revealed that one male islander would be saved by newcomer Kassy Castillo.

Before revealing her decision, the Love Island USA season 5 contestant said that the person she was about to choose was "really sweet" "inside and out." She added that their time together had been cut short and that she wanted to give it time to see if there was a connection between them.

As she chose Rob, Aaron jumped from his seat in excitement and held his breath. Fans of the show took to social media to react to the islander's reaction and noted that he was more excited about Rob being saved than he was about him and Kaylor.
